"After spending 10 wonderful days at the Conrad Algarve, I can honestly say it exceeded our expectations in almost every way.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was first class. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with a lovely, friendly bellboy helping us with our luggage. We were also offered drinks on arrival, which was a really nice touch after travelling.
Our room was spacious, modern and, most importantly, spotlessly clean. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep every night. The balcony was also a great size and perfect for relaxing. Housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay, and the evening turndown service was another lovely touch.
The food across the hotel was fantastic. Breakfast offered both an extensive buffet and made-to-order dishes, with plenty of choice and staff happy to accommodate any requests. We also enjoyed several lunches by the pool and in the restaurant, and every meal was excellent. The quality of the food was superb, and the staff were always friendly and attentive.
As amazing as the hotel itself is, the standout feature for us was the Sereno pool area and, without a doubt, the incredible pool boys. They genuinely made our holiday special and are a huge credit to the Conrad. Nothing was ever too much trouble they were constantly checking if we needed anything, helping move loungers and always making us feel looked after.
A special mention has to go to:
Lucky – Such a genuinely lovely guy. He always made time to come over for a chat, checked that we were happy and had the biggest smile on his face every day. His positive energy really added to our holiday.
Caleb – A fantastic young man who was professional, friendly and took a genuine interest in getting to know guests. He looked after us brilliantly and was always a pleasure to talk to.
Saymon – Another incredibly friendly and helpful member of the team. Always welcoming, always happy to help and nothing was ever too much trouble. We really appreciated everything he did for us.
Ashaduzzaman Babu – What can I say? An absolute legend. We ended up becoming friends over the course of our stay, and he genuinely made a huge difference to our holiday. He works incredibly hard, is kind, funny and always goes above and beyond for guests. We looked forward to seeing him every day by the pool because we knew we’d be looked after so well. Baboo is a real asset to the Conrad and deserves every bit of recognition.
It’s difficult to find faults with the hotel. The only very minor points would be that the temperature-controlled pool could perhaps have been a little warmer, and there could be a few more sunbeds around the Serena pool but luckily we’re early risers, so it wasn’t an issue for us.
Overall, this was an outstanding stay from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, but it’s the people who truly make it special. We’ll definitely be returning and sincerely hope to see Lucky, Caleb, Saymon and Babu again on our next visit. Thank you all for making our holiday so memorable."
