Xerion Hotel

"We had a room on the first floor that had a street view. It was very clean with a newly modernised bathroom. Everything was good , except for the carpet which looks old and worn (as is carpet on stairs and the hallways). You can ask for complimentary slippers to fix the issue of the dirty looking carpet. Also, you can ask for complimentary water which they give you in glass bottles (there is a notice in the room detailing this). If the room is too stuffy then ask to open the window and they can come unlock it. Kettle was very clean and they did refill teabags etc. There is a fridge so you can buy milk etc from Zabka about 3 mins away. Nice location and so walkable to places like Judah market and the old town. We didn’t need to bus or tram as we like walking. Bring your own hair conditioner, and toiletries. If you forget your toothbrush, they charge 10 pln which you can buy at reception! We would stay again."

"Located in a quiet residential street but with easy access to public transport and only a few minutes' walk from a selection of bars, restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores. plus the Vistula river. Welcoming reception staff and spacious rooms. Had a ground floor room overlooking the atrium which was fairly quite, warm and clean. But possibly the most boring hotel room ever stayed in. bathroom was bright, clean and had all the amenities, including towels, shower gel etc, hairdryer. Room had desk, kettle and tea bags/instant coffee sachets/bottled water. TV only received internet/Netflix channels, nothing in English or news programmes. Bed comfortable, lighting better than most hotel rooms, but boring. Free biscuits in reception area. Didn't eat in hotel and only had one drink in the bar (nice surprise to find a beer was included, thanks!). Lunch and dinner menus looked adequate but can't comment on breakfast or any of the food as always ate out. Good location, about 25-30 minute ealk to the big main sqaure of Krakow but public transport in the form of trams and buses just 2 minute walk on the main road."

"We stayed at the Xerion for our annual anniversary holiday, and we weren’t disappointed at all. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, the breakfast was such a huge array of delicious options and the room in the atrium was just perfect! Little bit of a walk to the city centre but that was absolutely fine with us as we love to walk and explore the beautiful city of Krakow. The drinks voucher on arrival is a very nice touch! We would definitely stay here again."
