"My stay at Hotel Niko in Šibenik was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail that immediately made me feel valued as a guest. A beautifully signed, personalized postcard and some of the finest Croatian chocolate were waiting for me—a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflected the hotel's commitment to outstanding hospitality. My room was impeccably clean, cozy, and equipped with every amenity I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The entire property is exceptionally well-maintained, creating a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. The location itself feels incredibly safe, and the surrounding area is peaceful and welcoming. What truly sets Hotel Niko apart is its remarkable staff. Every member of the team was kind, courteous, professional, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring guests feel comfortable, safe, and at home. Their friendliness never felt forced—it came naturally, and it elevated the entire experience. The level of service is genuinely world-class and rivals that of the finest hotels anywhere in the world. The dining experience was another highlight of my stay. The food was consistently fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. Every meal reflected outstanding quality and care, giving me the impression that some of the very best chefs in Croatia work here. The restaurant combines exceptional cuisine with attentive and friendly service, making every dining experience memorable. I was also pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices were considering the quality of the accommodation, service, and food. Hotel Niko offers tremendous value while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Niko to anyone visiting Šibenik. The combination of world-class service, exceptionally kind and professional staff, outstanding fresh cuisine, comfortable accommodation, and genuine Croatian hospitality makes this hotel truly special. Every meal was prepared with care, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented. It’s clear that great attention is given to quality, and it shows in every bite. What impressed us the most is the overall value and balance of everything the hotel offers. Although officially rated as a 3-star hotel, it easily exceeds expectations and could confidently stand as a 4-star establishment. We left genuinely impressed and grateful for such a wonderful stay. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Šibenik — this place is a true delight!"

"This hotel was disappointing on most levels, and unfortunately, the worst part was the pool area. The outdoor space is poorly maintained — with mud all around the pool — making it impossible to relax there. We ended up purchasing passes to the nearby water park every day instead (€35 per person, even for kids). It’s expensive, but in our case, worth it because the hotel pool area was unusable. The buffet was another letdown. At €35 per adult (and 50% for children under 12), the food quality was extremely poor. We ended up eating only some salad. Drinks are not included, and prices are steep — around €8 for a local beer and €10 for a glass of local wine. The red wine was undrinkable, while the white was just okay. Our room was also a major disappointment. All rooms seem to smell like smoke. We paid extra for a beach view but were given a view of the parking lot, complete with blinds over the windows that made the room completely dark. It’s honestly one of the worst rooms I’ve stayed in, and it’s incredible they charge this kind of money for such a low standard. On the positive side, the ancient village on the premises is truly unique — amazing and authentic ruins, and absolutely worth booking a table there for dinner. The water park is also one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen. If you’re over 18, the spa is the real highlight. It’s spacious, luxurious, and included in your stay. There’s a large pool, sauna, steam room, and complimentary water and fruit. The sunbeds are comfortable, and the area is blissfully far from the chaos of the main pool. There’s also a cocktail bar and treatments like massages and facials available. We might consider returning to this destination — but next time, we’d book one of the five-star Amadria properties instead. Just note that it’s about an hour from Split airport, but with traffic, plan for at least 1.5 hours."
