From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by an atmosphere of elegance, warmth, and genuine hospitality. The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable, but what truly elevated our experience was the extraordinary team of people who cared for us throughout our stay. Every staff member we encountered demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, courtesy, and genuine hospitality. There was a sense that every detail mattered—and that each guest truly mattered. We would especially like to recognize several remarkable members of the team. Maria, our Concierge, was exceptional. Her warmth, knowledge, gracious assistance, and attention to detail made navigating Rome feel effortless. She welcomed us with such genuine kindness that we quickly felt we were being cared for by a friend rather than simply assisted by a concierge. Samuele and Alessandro, our Front Desk Hosts, consistently greeted us with professionalism and warmth. Every interaction was handled with such grace and genuine care, creating a wonderful first impression each time we returned to the hotel. Joyce, our Room Attendant, deserves special recognition for the beautiful care she gave to our room. Her attention to detail and thoughtful service reflected the pride she takes in her work and contributed greatly to the comfort of our stay. Diego, our Room Service Steward, provided impeccable service with courtesy and professionalism. His gracious manner and attention to every detail made even room service feel like an elegant dining experience. And then there is Guilio, the Superstar Maître D at The Dome Restaurant. Guilio is truly one of those rare hospitality professionals who makes an experience unforgettable. His elegant table-side service, wonderful conversation, warmth, and genuine attention to us as guests transformed our meals into memorable occasions. He possesses that special quality that cannot simply be taught—he genuinely loves creating a wonderful experience for people. We also want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the many members of the Starhotels Michelangelo team who work behind the scenes. We may not know every name, but we certainly felt their dedication. The immaculate surroundings, thoughtful details, seamless service, and welcoming atmosphere are a reflection of their hard work, and they deserve our sincere gratitude as well. Starhotels Michelangelo Roma is a beautiful hotel, but its greatest luxury is its people. It is the people who turn a hotel stay into an experience, and the team here did exactly that for us. "This was a nice hotel within walking distance to the Vatican. Actually the Vatican was the only tourist spot close enough to walk to. There were plenty of restaurants close by along with numerous shops. The hotel also had a great restaurant and a small bar off the lobby. The rooms were small and there was not much room on the sink. The bath towels were very large and the room was clean. The tub/shower was extremely high to step over, but there was a safety bar on the wall. They stored your luggage until the room was ready, which was at 4:30 p.m. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel did NOT have a pool and there were NO activities available."
