"Well take the beautiful garden away and this tip scores -5 . Staff rude beyond belief Breakfast cold food. Poor selection of eggs scrambled usually cold and congealed . Bacon streaky again cold and breaststroking in a pool of fat Hot drinks requests met with faces like you've just asked for their soul . Oh my God!!! lets do the rooms next . Showers that fit size 0 people . Water that scolds or freezes and drains that make you wretch on opening the front door in the morning. Various species of bug in the rooms themselves, beds that sink in the middle like the Grand Canyon . The area outside the hotel feels like your walking through a potentially dangerous zone . There are if you venture out within 15 mins one or two bars where you can get a drink unlike the hotel which has the worst selection of aperitif,dinner and after dinner drinks or beers I've ever known in a hotel . With amateur or badly trained and I imagine underpaid and overworked staff there is an air of total apathy and couldn't care less amongst them. We ate dinner in the restaurant 1st night worst meal ever and as my reviews show I've eaten in a lot of places around the 🌎. Back to the rooms their front doors in such a bad state of repair that one good tug and the panels would fall out . Sliding doors inside that feel unsafe and sparking electrical sockets make me wonder how much longer the hotel will allow such disrepair to continue. Nice touch the heated floor in the bathrooms although only warm in certain places , another nice thing is the decaying beauty of the building obviously grand in its day and its ageing foyer still show signs of its past opulence. Tread carefully because every decking shows signs of rotting and risks potentially putting you on your derriere in an instant Normal hotel services don't exist like ordering a taxi you would have thought id asked for their first born for sacrifice. Room service met with the same disdain as did any normal requests by guests of their hotel . On reflection a poor hotel living on past days of grandeur,in need of a huge refurbishment currently offering poor choice poor standard, poor cleanliness standards and lets move on to transportation links . Taxi to Naples centre around 50 to 80 euros . Train station for a fit adult 15 mins for a pensioner with mobility issues 30 to 45 mins , bus service virtually non existent but a 20 min walk to best bus stop . Your hopefully building a picture by now , that our stay was not enjoyable. Another review says if its cheap basically suck it up . But even if it is cheap courtesy costs nothing , and standards can still be met . Beautiful cars parked in the car park and gardens that are also attractive do not make a hotel good . As a base for our exploration of the city it was an abrupt introduction to the beauty and decay that is Naples . Pompei, the volcano,the herculaneum and lots more to see are all testament to the courage and resilience of these people, however this is not the hotel to stay if you want to see that courage and resilience. More disdain and apathy . Personally I can't say stay somewhere else strongly enough. "We chose this villa based on the photographs on the official website and booked directly. We were assigned a room in the building next to the main villa that had nothing to do with the advertisements. A sad room overlooking the parking lot on the ground floor. The furniture is what you would imagine at best for a hostel and the bed is of poor quality, even sagging in the middle. Since there were events on both nights in a kind of tent like a covered tennis court that is part of the complex, we endured loud music until late at night. The old villa has been somewhat restored but without style and without class. It was a very disappointing experience for us."

"Some of the so-called garden rooms are actually car park rooms - see photo. They are also adjacent to a permanent marquee which the hotel uses for events. During my stay a party boomed loud music until the early hours, with people noisily coming and going outside my room. No possibility for sleep. Response from reception was just to lie about how long it was going on for. The next night, another party. Across a full weekend Villa Signorini knowingly failed the ‘relaxing and comfortable stay‘ they had sold me.
