"I'm writing this review in English to avoid any misunderstandings caused by automatic translations, so both future guests and the Delfinia Resort team can read it exactly as I mean it.
Before our holiday, we read a lot of bad reviews, so we were a bit worried. After spending 13 days at Delfinia Resort, we honestly don't understand many of them. Of course, everyone has different expectations, but we had a really great experience.
From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. They explained how the all-inclusive package worked, the restaurant opening times, and where we could find food and drinks throughout the day. It was a great start to our holiday.
Our room was spacious, very clean, and smelled fresh when we arrived. Housekeeping during our stay was quite basic, but it was absolutely fine for us.
One of the biggest surprises was the food. We'd read so many negative comments before travelling, but we thought it was really good. There was plenty of choice every day, and the meal times were fantastic. Lunch is served from 12:45 pm until 3:00 pm and dinner from 6:45 pm until 9:15 pm. As a mum of two children, I can't tell you how much I appreciated not having to rush to meals! It made the whole holiday much more relaxing. Ice cream and soft drinks are also available throughout the day, which the kids absolutely loved.
The entertainment team deserves a special mention. They were amazing—always smiling, friendly and full of energy, but never pushy. We didn't join many activities because we spent most days exploring Rhodes, but they always made everyone feel welcome.
The only small challenge was the language. None of the staff speak Italian, and I'm the only one in my family who speaks English well. Even so, it wasn't really a problem. With a digital translator and with a little patience you can communicate without any issues.
To keep this review honest, I'll also mention the two small problems we had. After a couple of days, our air conditioning stopped working, but it was repaired very quickly after we reported it. A few times there weren't enough towels in the room after housekeeping, but we just asked and they brought them straight away. No big deal.
I'd also like to say a big thank you to all the restaurant staff. They were incredibly kind, always smiling, professional, and so lovely with our children. Thanks as well to the bartender for recommending some beautiful beaches and places to visit, and to the reception team for always being helpful and solving our little issues so quickly.
Last but not least, thank you to Antonio, the resort manager. You should be proud of the team you've built. Everyone works hard to make guests feel welcome, and it really shows.
Would we come back? Absolutely. We had a wonderful family holiday and would happily recommend Delfinia Resort to anyone travelling with children. Sometimes it's worth seeing a place with your own eyes instead of judging it by a few negative reviews. We certainly weren't disappointed!"
