"We had a wonderful stay at the Rhodes Palladium Resort and would happily return. It is a large hotel, but it is exceptionally well organised and enjoys an excellent location on Faliraki Beach, while also being within easy reach of Rhodes Town and many of the island’s attractions. There is ample on-site parking, which was particularly convenient as we had a hire car.
We stayed in an Elite Sea View Room on the sixth floor, and I would highly recommend booking this room category. The higher floor offers spectacular panoramic sea views, which were one of the highlights of our stay. The room itself was spacious, modern and very comfortable.
The refurbished bathroom was excellent, featuring a large walk-in shower with good water pressure, generous wash basins and illuminated mirrors with a built-in demister, which was a thoughtful touch.
Although the hotel was busy during our stay, it never felt overcrowded. Guests naturally dispersed throughout the day between the pools, beach and other facilities, creating a relaxed atmosphere that was pleasantly surprising for a resort of this size.
Breakfast offered an extensive selection with something for everyone, and we particularly enjoyed the themed touches that changed from day to day. One morning there was a Greek-themed breakfast featuring traditional Greek coffee and delicious local sweets. On another day, there was a Scandinavian-inspired selection with smoked salmon and crushed boiled eggs, adding welcome variety to an already excellent buffet.
We also enjoyed spending time at the bar one evening, where we ordered two cocktails. Both were exceptionally well balanced, expertly prepared and reasonably priced, offering excellent value for the quality. It was a lovely way to relax and round off the evening.
The beach was another standout feature. The views were stunning, and the Blue Flag beach was impeccably maintained. The hotel’s reserved sunbeds were only a couple of minutes’ walk away, and one of the biggest advantages was that there was no need to cross a busy road to reach the beach. This was a refreshing change compared with several other resorts in Greece, where accessing the hotel’s beach involves crossing traffic.
A special thank you goes to Vasilis at the entrance. He warmly welcomed us, helped with our luggage on arrival and departure, and always took a genuine interest in our day, often asking which restaurants we had visited around the island. These small, personal interactions added to the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel.
Overall, Rhodes Palladium Resort combines an excellent location, comfortable accommodation, outstanding beach access and a relaxed atmosphere. Despite being a large hotel, it never felt crowded, and the high standard of facilities and service made for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We would gladly return."
