"Overall, we had a lovely stay. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning – it’s beautifully designed, very aesthetic, spotlessly clean, and the views are incredible. The sunsets every evening were a real highlight. We also loved the Aperol bar and the crêpe bar, which were easily the best parts of the all-inclusive experience.
We also visited the spa, which was lovely, and the massages were very good. We paid €180 for two treatments (one 50-minute massage and one 40-minute massage). However, we were disappointed that we weren’t offered access to the sauna or relaxation room, despite these facilities being available. It would have been nice if this had been included or at least mentioned when we booked.
Unfortunately, the all-inclusive package was quite disappointing. The cocktails were enjoyable for the first day or so, but after that they all seemed to taste overly sweet and sickly. The mocktails were poor, and when we booked, there was supposed to be a juice and smoothie bar, but it didn’t exist. Fresh juices were either unavailable or tasted more like diluted squash than fresh juice. If you’re expecting branded soft drinks, be aware that they only serve imitation cola and lemonade rather than the real thing.
The biggest disappointment was the food. The buffet wasn’t much better, with limited choice and average-quality food throughout our stay. The three restaurants also didn’t live up to expectations. We didn’t even bother trying the Italian restaurant for dinner because we’d already been eating the same food there at lunch. With only three dinner options, if you don’t enjoy them, you’re pretty limited. We’re not picky eaters, but the selection was lacking and the overall quality of the food was below average.
In fact, we ended up leaving the hotel on most days just to enjoy a decent meal and proper cocktails. Thankfully, there are some lovely restaurants and bars along the beach nearby, and these ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
A tip for future guests: don’t waste your holiday trying to get a sunbed at the two main pools. They seem to open at different times every day, making it almost impossible to get one. The quieter back pool was much better, and the waiter there was fantastic and really made the experience more enjoyable.
Evenings are very quiet, which is great if you’re looking for a relaxing break, but there isn’t much to do. We were even asked to stop playing cards by the pool at around 10:30 pm after a noise complaint, despite there being very few places to sit and spend the evening.
One thing that really frustrated us was how the all-inclusive ended. We arrived at the hotel at midnight on our first day, meaning we missed almost an entire day’s worth of the package. We assumed we’d at least be able to make the most of it on our departure day, as our transfer wasn’t until 8 pm. Instead, our wristbands were cut off before we left, so we lost access to all food and drinks for the rest of the day. Considering we’d already missed the first day, this felt really unfair and left a sour end to the holiday.
Overall, it’s a gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting, with friendly staff and breathtaking views. However, the all-inclusive experience—particularly the food, drinks, and the way it’s managed—really lets the hotel down. We’d happily return if those aspects were significantly improved, but as it stands, we wouldn’t recommend paying extra for the all-inclusive package."
