Royal Bay Suites

"Third year in a row that I've spent my birthday here,this place is simple,clean and in a perfect spot along this Bay to explore from one end to the other! As I said,three years running,we find the rooms spacious,cleaned daily,towels changed every other day,bedding changed halfway through your week. Spacious wardrobes,shelving etc.,room controlled air-con provided free of charge,as is the safety deposit box,small fridge in room. Wall mounted t,v. now gets English news channels Hair dryer,electric kettle also in room,each apartment has a small terrace or balcony. Bathroom typically Greek with shower draining directly into floor! Plenty of food tastes and choices catered for on the breakfast buffet,an experience in itself....though all fresh! Plenty of the resorts "better"restaurants all within a short walking distance away! No evening entertainment,just a bar and service available. We love it as its peaceful and relaxing,plenty of sun loungers and brollies around the pools,plus free loungers and brollies on our bit of beach in front of hotel,we love it the way it is.....tranquil!"

"Poor quality breakfast and the pastry section practically non-existent. Towels in the room were frayed and often had holes. Bathroom poorly laid out and dirty with a shower that could not be adjusted in height. The hotel's location is excellent, however, for this 2-star hotel that would otherwise be less"

"We stayed 7 days at this property but that was enough, what a disappointment, such a beautiful property in a fantastic location that is managed so poorly. We had booked a bed and breakfast service (this hotel does not provide anything else) Too bad, but I must write about my experience at this hotel which is not worth the 4 stars, due to shortcomings in cleaning and tidying up the rooms, in the nonexistent sweet breakfast, there were 3 types of jams, contained in glass jars: fig, orange, watermelon, then by mid-week the fig one was gone, 2 types of jams, oxidized sliced fruit of apples and oranges, there was also a bowl of fruit salad that was unsightly and uninviting, the slices of toast bread were a mix of fresh, few, and old, increasingly so. The sweets were old cookies and a sliced pound cake, there was also a little orange cake, always the same one, either untouched or with only one bite taken. A machine dispensed hot drinks but of low quality. Another machine dispensed three types of watered-down juices. Few tables were set with tablecloths and none of them were prepared with cutlery. The beach services consisted of a small number of old straw-covered umbrellas with old lounge chairs made of a very heavy wooden box with an adjustable frame like a lounge chair with a cloth on top; many of them were in need of maintenance. We felt cheated by the price-quality ratio."
