"My wife booked this for a hen do, which didn't happen, so instead of 3 women and two kids going, we had a family of three and a friend. I checked reviews just before we left, but didn't have the heart to tell my wife... Anyway...
We Booked on Love Holidays, which went ok, despite the numerous changes our end.
Location - Our transfer took us to the hotel, but we couldn't find it. My iPhone gave us a different address, so they dropped us off there. The first was correct (near the beach/smelly canal!), using Google Maps. There is a sign on the hotel wall, which is super small and laminated! Once there, the location was very good - less than a minute to the beach and about 5 minutes from the strip. The sunbed place nearest the hotel was the best for us, free sunbed usage if having drinks, whereas others were around 20 euros for two further down (nearer the strip), great cocktails and ice creams too!
Check In - Signs to the reception are grim and laminated, and you have to walk all around/through the complex to get to the reception. Check in nice and easy, we had to pay roughly 30 euros for each room, despite 3 people in one and one in another, but that may be fine, unsure!
Room - Our room, 215, was fine really. Bunk beds and a double bed, ice cold air con. Small wardrobe, safe, shower was a bit broke, but bearable for 4 nights. Our friend's room had yellow liquid in the bathroom, but they got her another room straight away, all good. They clean the rooms every day but Sunday, which is odd, as Sunday is the only day they came in! They did not clean it, just changed towels and emptied toilet bin. Fridge was small but ok, with three small bottles of water in there on arrival, which didn't get replenished. Balcony had three chairs, a table and a little airer for wet clothes, was decent. Bathroom door barely closed and was frosted and not a full door, so could see and hear everything. Bed was ok in my opinion, duvet was very odd! Mosquito plug ins in the room too - I did get bit a good few times, but can't remember where.
Pool/Buildings - There is a main pool, a budget 'infinity pool' and a kids pool, with a shower. Ok, not the cleanest though. Green round the edges and lots of bugs on one day. There were trip hazards everywhere, fixings from old buildings etc all around and a few sunbeds were broken. If you don't get there very early you won't get anything in the shade. Swim up rooms looked a bit grim, but we did not have one. A lot of unused structures, including pools near the food bit which looked terrible, it needs some money spending on the place for sure! There was one toilet by the pool and bar, which was GRIM. Decking flooring (in a toilet!!!) and the door had expanding foam all around it. It never had hand towels in for the duration. Smoking was rife throughout, which for non-smokers isn't great. On previous reviews some complained about construction in a neighbouring hotel, but we did not hear/witness any.
Drinks - Drinks are a little poor. A printed sign on the bar said cocktails available only at a certain time at night (can't remember the time), but this seemed wrong, as they did drinks all day from 10. Two different bartenders were both really good and nice, but sometimes just went missing for half hour! Drinks pretty weak, self serve rose was decent, didn't try the white wine, and self serve beer was ok, even though the tap looked like it was held to the bar by a strand of masking tape. All drinks at the bar were served in plastic cups, which didn't bother me to be honest - no one wants smashed glass around there! No name brands at all, which was expected.
Food - possibly the worst bit about it, unfortunately. I'm picky, but in an unhealthy way, and found food to be just about bearable. My wife, kid and our friend hated it, barely eating there. For an all inclusive, we ate out more than we should've! A self-serve buffet, not that hot, but in my opinion edible. The cake was by far the best bit! You could have actual glasses with it too, although I got a self-serve rose wine which looked like vinegar! When I plated food up flies landed on it, which was frustrating. The meal staff were very good, clearing plates extremely quickly, and seemed nice. As others mentioned, only snacks that were available were essentially leftovers from the meal earlier - sandwiches and biscuits wrapped in cling film in a small fridge, and slices of watermelon which seemed to be popular.
Entertainment - I think there was two lots of entertainment on when we were there; a Greek night which was ok ish and a DJ who was quite good. During the day they sometimes played music by the pool, but depends who was working, and sometimes the same songs. On our last day they had a pool table delivered, which looked like it had done three tours of Afghan..
Check Out - Check Out was rapid, but nowhere to store bags or rent a room to shower etc. We checked out at 11 and our transfer was 7pm! We stayed at the hotel and still had food and drink for free (not that we asked). We just kept our cases close.
So, all in all, I'd either avoid completely, or massively temper your expectations. If it's super cheap, and you are used to eating prison food or similar, go for it! If it was self catering and very cheap I'd be tempted, as the location is good and room wasn't the worst."
