"We arrived on 01st October in extremely bad weather conditions. Dina the owner was extremely welcoming and showed us to our room, explaining where things were and what time breakfast was and left us to settle in, the room was as advertised in the brochures. We picked the standard room which was very clean, extremely spacious, cool and comfortable. It had a lovely balcony with a view over the gardens, street and hillside. After a lovely night’s sleep, in a very large bed ( the mattress was on the firmer side, which was perfect for us, ) we enjoyed a cold continental breakfast in the pool bar. We did on the first day, find the shower slightly cooler, this being due to torrential rain and thunderstorms. (This is the same across Greece) Once the storm passed, the water was roasting hot and plentiful, both morning and evening. We both found both Dina, and the lady who came to clean the room extremely friendly. They went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely relaxing holiday. During our holiday we got to know Dina and she was knowledgeable and gave excellent advice regarding local places to visit and areas of Corfu to visit by bus or car. The pool area and gardens are extremely well maintained and the pool bar has ample drinks, snacks and ice cream, to satisfy everyone. We enjoyed our time here so much, we booked to come back for a longer visit next year, while still on our holiday. Local information: Going right from the apartment takes you to the beach Left is towards the main strip There are a variety of foods to choose from in a small area. The old town is very nice to walk around and explore, although it is very steep. There is a lovely coffee shop in Messonghi, called Delicious. It’s family run and absolutely top notch food and drinks. It’s about half hour walk across the river. We ate here several times and found the food the best in the area. There is a delicious small Italian pizza place, very accommodating and reasonably priced. The shop next door was the cheapest supermarket in Moratiki. Although the beach is not much to write home about, we found the pool a tranquil, spotlessly clean and relaxing area. we would without doubt, recommend this place to our family and friends."

"Agree with most reviewers on this one tellis rooms are clean and comfortable small but hey it's typically 2☆ greek apartments. OK hot water hit and miss occasionally but we coped. Dina the owner was great ,runs a tight ship does everything herself .pool and gardens are spotless as is the breakfast areas ,with fridges containing drinks snacks ice creams etc for purchase. Location is great 5 minute walk to the beach ,super markets bars and restaurants and 10 minutes to the main road with nice restaurants bus stop to corfu town, perfect. We enjoyed our stay many thanks Dina. We will go back ."

"What a waste of time and money! Arrived late Sunday. Extremely basic budget room, no water in fridge, no tea coffee. Beds are like army barrack beds, I couldn't sleep, only a sheet over me, bottom sheet and no mattress protectors. Had to ask for hangers & a bed cover supplied by friendly cleaner bless her. Host Dina didn't even acknowledge me or smile the next morning at brekfast. Boring bland limited choices of food & drinks. Everyone sitting in silence. The following day I took my breakfast to my patio to eat. I could have coped with all that as it was a fairly cheap holiday. But the shower tipped me over the edge. Nothing to hook it onto, so you have to hold it. Monday morning, freezing cold. Tuesday afternoon, freezing cold. 5 other lots of guests said same, one couple leaving that day said it has been cold all week. Cold showers make me miserable and I have Lyme Disease Arthritis which cripples me when flares up. I've spent the ENTIRE day today calling Easyjet begging to be moved so I can have a hot shower. From 9.30am to 5.30pm They repeatedly said 'The management said there is hot water' - so basically calling me a liar. They offered me FIFTY POUNDS - seriously, £500 & a free holiday would not have me either not shower for a week or shower in cold water. They've refused to move me, so I've had to pay £300 to book elsewhere myself for rest of the week. I'm absolutely disgusted. Hotel manager excuse was if the solar panels don't get enough sun, the water won't be hot. Last two days were clear blue skies and sun! Finally insult to injury is the stench of sewers coming from God knows where. Cannot wait to get out of here!"
