"The hotel is located on the beach, however the beach cannot be used, it is dirty, full of sea grass. However, only a few minutes away by foot there is the main beach, Paralia Kavos. There are several hotels and beach bars that have beds and umbrellas. The water was clean, though at the shore there was plenty of sea grass.
The hotel probably knew better days. The bathroom was renovated and the sewage was very good, we had no problems. There was hot water all the time. No soap provided, the towels looked old and stained, however were clean and were changed upon request. So no complaints about the bathroom. The room itself was ok, we knew that we paid for a 2 star hotel so we did not have unreasonable expectations. The sheets were clean and could also be changed upon request. We had a fridge and a kettle that were very useful. For the safe we paid 15 euro for one week. The air condition also costs 10 euro per day, but we didn't need it. A big problem was the absence of a window net to protect from the moustiques. And the biggest problem was the noise at night. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area, but the people (clients), mostly teenagers, were extremly noisy. They were all talking loud, laughing and drinking in the balconies and running on the halls and slamming the doors , with absolutely no respect for their neighbours. We tried to politely ask them to lower their voices, but it was useless, the noise lasted generally till 3-4 hrs in the morning. We needed ear plugs in order to get some sleep.
Close to the hotel there were plenty of travel agencies where we booked cruises and trips, they were beautiful.
To conclude, the hotel is good for teenagers and young people who do not plan to sleep at night or who have no problems with the noise.
Last, but not least, the manager (Alex) was very attentive. When we arrived at 8 am we got our room on the spot and he was very helpful all the time throughout our stay."
