Flora Saint Spyridon Hotel

"Nice hotel with friendly vibe, during our stay we met some lovely people. Rooms are clean and comfortable, good quality bedding and towels and we slept well. Plenty of choice at breakfast either hot or cold options available. There’s a large cash and carry supermarket close by very reasonably priced. Never had any problem finding sunbeds. In our opinion the sunbeds were a bit grubby and could do with updating. Also the music at the pool could be more chilled, but this is down to personal preference. The hotel is located at the top of a hill about 15-20 mins walk from both Kassiopi and the beach. This didn’t bother us but the hill may be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. There are taxis from the town but not many are available during the day. Kassiopi is a picturesque small town with a good range of shops, restaurants, cafe’s and bars to suit all tastes. Great boat trips to Corfu town from the harbour or go by bus. Bus stop five minutes walk from the hotel. Although we enjoyed our stay, if we return to Kassiopi we will stay a little nearer to town. I would say this hotel is more suitable for adults."

"Great location. Good clean room, comfortable bed. Nice pool with sun beds. Swim towels available. Breakfast good."

"First time here and there's some good and bad bits. Firstly the room we had was lovely. Very large comfortable bed, small kitchen area with hob, sink and fridge. The bathroom has a large shower, with plenty of hot water. Shower gel and shampoo provided. Cleaned regularly and free air conditioning, towels changed regularly. I would suggest they should move the wall mirror down as you can't sit at the dressing table and see into it. Hairdryer provided. We had a decent sized patio area too. Not a great view though. Wasn't keen that the cleaner left the patio doors open after cleaning though.... to let the floor dry I'm presuming, especially as we were on the ground floor. There's no safes in the rooms. We were B&B. The breakfast was ok, not the best I've had. Cereals, yoghurt, meats, cheeses, pastries etc. The cooked breakfast was never very hot. Fried eggs cooked fresh but the containers for keeping them hot was just filled with hot water underneath so they didn't stay hot for long. But we managed to have something each day. The pool/pool area.... It's a very small pool, but big enough to cool off....... But a big let down for us was the pool was dirty. The water looked clean but the sides of the pool were black with grime. That was day 1 and never got cleaned off in the 7 days we were there. Consequently we never went in after the first dip. The sunbeds, there's not many of them, but they look like they've seen better days too. Such a shame as everywhere else was clean. No idea why this has been left like this. The staff were all lovely and very hard working. It's quite a walk into Kassiopi, not a flat walk either. It's doable but not if you've got walking difficulties. But there's taxis to be had. Easier to get one back though. It was a bit too far away for us really so even if everything was 100% we wouldn't stay again."
