I have traveled to many hotels in the region of Corfu and this hotel stands out the best by far. The customer service of each individual is cleaners, bar staff, kitchen, waiters, waitresses and even managers EVERYONE working in this hotel has the upmost respect for all guests. They went above and beyond for myself and other guests I spoke to. Extremely friendly, hard working and attentive to staff & guests! The staff in my eyes were an absolute team that worked really well together to get anything resolved that accrued . There was a huge storm one night and I have NEVER seen staff & managers work so hard as a team attending to us guests with a power cut and also deal with preventing damage to the hotel outside with the wooden beach beds, umbrellas & outdoor equipment. They went above and beyond making sure everyone was calm & reassured us everyone’s was alright. The full area of acharavi was affected but I am so glad I was staying at that hotel because the staff looked after us all.
Every morning the kitchen staff greeted myself and 2 kids with smiles on their faces & took interest to us individually asking where we were from & our hobbies etc as we wore our football tops from the uk. My children even commented on how friendy they were. The food was unreal & my kids are very specific in what the eat. Like most kids they are fussy and yet both both tried and loved the food to my surprise! Especially the spaghetti bollgnese which my daughter lived on! The Customer service from the male staff attending to guests in the kitchen was 5*****
The food at lunch & dinner was awesome with a huge selection to try from Mediterranean to pasta and pizza etc. The breakfasts were hugely enjoyable & cooked to perfection! Food 5*****
At night there was entertainment but the one night that stood out for me was the Greek dancing as my kids loved the atmosphere. I took my kids out most evenings so I can’t really comment in entertainment except the Greek dancing.
The bar staff work non stop & again go above and beyond to attend to each guest. They work phenomenal together as they are such a super friendly & hard working team. Again my children commented on how nice & attentive they were to them both. I genuinely have never seen staff work so good as a team 5*****
The rooms were immaculate & the cleaners are honestly the sweetest most hard working woman! My room was cleaned from top to bottom each day by the cleaners! If I could give 10 stars I would - completely immaculate 5*****
So as you can tell by my review I would highly recommend to visit The Wyndham hotel in Acharvi! With kids couples or even a solo traveler as everyone is super friendly. You can thank me later when you visit!!!!"
