"If I could go 4.5 I would but not quite 5 star for a few points that take away from the amazing hotel it is. We just came back today June 9th 2026 from a week of much needed R&R. Firstly the good points and really there are lots. We stayed in a junior villa and I was impressed a lovely size room for 2 with a view which is up there with the best hotel views I've had. Well appointed room with sunloungers, a table and chairs plus a plunge pool.
There's a double bath in the room which has a window aspect looking out the bay. Seperate shower and separate toilet. His and hers sinks. Thoroughly impressed with the room. The main reception to the villas is also lush with a bar with outdoor terrace and panoramic views. There is also a seperate outdoor pool for villa guests which was empty most of the time of our stay here and a great place to go in the afternoon out of the heat from the beach (this is June it gets way hotter)there's also a indoor pool and a jacuzzi I thought it was all very high end and had a great ambience to the whole area. The gym at the villa end is small and ok for a bit of cardio or light free weights, better than nothing I would say.
Great buggy service form the villas to the main hotel or beach and a shout to Christopher who was a friendly young lad. The cocktails at the villa bar were great and a second shout to Alex who made terrific cocktails and another friendly guy. I could not fault the villa area of the hotel, clean and stylish.
The hotel itself has the best food I've ever experienced and I have been to some pretty good places in my time, only went to the buffet the first night we were there and I thought this was good and the food run to theme rather than lots of mix matches. The rest of the holiday was bistros for lunch or sea food restaurants all a la carte and all included in all inclusive. I had many a wow moment when my food arrived from any of the food restaurants whether lunch or dinner it was all pretty amazing in my opinion and I am a proper foodie so if I could fault it I would state. Breakfast at lofos was also good quality and menu service. It also had a buffet with some really well made items on offer. Another shout to anastasia a very friendly and humorous waitress. The beach was great the sea almost millpond like during our stay. The sun beds in all the resort were high quality but the villa section of the beach went up a gear again all with there own canopies to help with the direct sun (all sunbeds in beach had canopies). The sea was really nice,ok snorkeling with clear waters. Beach shoes are helpful for the row of pebbles as you get into the sea. The hotel is very clean everything is kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Boat hire was good and I paid 150 for a full day. Water sports in general were well priced I thought compared to other destinations. Beginner diving lesson on the sea for 90 minutes at 90 euros not bad I would say. The staff are really friendly and polite. Every person I encountered were very friendly. Wildlife there were Swallow nests outside the villas no mosquito seen , the odd wasp. the outdoor pool has a great display around 5 pm of the birds dipping in the water, So everything I have wrote is 5 star all the way no questions it's a great place.
The bad points that effected my rating on this review.
I'll start with the room I praised. Mini fridge.. not bar fridge.. no alcohol in the fridge 1 bottle of coke,1 can of lemonade, 2 cartons of water, 0 percent bottle of Heineken. This fridge was not refilled and 2 people in the room all week .. heads and tails on the bottle of coke?.. 1 bottle of nasty red wine in the room on arrival.. no white.. no refil. No sparkling water. We asked for a fridge refill and got it 2 days after first request.. look even if your not a big drinker the 5 star experience needs to have available fluids in your room.. I mean you get sun loungers.. a table and chairs, a pool but if you want more than water if you decide to spend a few hours in your villa you better walk to a bar. We had a plate of fruit in the room that sat there all week , at the end of the week the furry stuff was growing on parts..
The restaurants again re drinks I don't think they like giving them, you ask you get but they don't come and ask you if you would like another so again I feel this five star resort shows a real anti attitude to offering drinks which lets it down. I'm by no way a massive drinker but the constant sitting with no drink of any kind was annoying, even in the fine dining Amaya restaurant my bottle of wine came, waitress poured a glass then removed the bottle about 4 moters away with no attentiveness to looking if you needed a refill so I collected said bottle and left it on the table..
Beach service is a great idea press the button a barman comes takes your order and brings you your drink.. 5 star service only the reality was it was far far quicker to go to the bar yourself and get your drink.. not a biggy I liked the walk in fairness but again offering a service but badly giving that service offered takes away from the 5 star experience.
That's my review to finalise, some niggles but overall a great place great staff, great hotel, great food and great atmosphere.
Will I go back, not sure and only because of the niggles, the hotel itself is fantastic."
