Le Dauphin

"We chose the Hotel Le Dauphin, in the La Défense area, mainly for its location, since we traveled to Paris to attend the Céline Dion concert and it was very convenient for us to be close. We paid 245 € for two nights, with breakfast included. It seemed like a somewhat high price for what the hotel offers, although one must take into account that that weekend accommodation prices in Paris were quite high. In general, the hotel is fine, although we believe it could use a facelift. The room for two people that we got was a bit tight on space, as was the bathroom, which was renovated, but turned out to be small. The bed, however, was quite comfortable and allowed us to rest well. The breakfast was decent, although without too much variety. The space designated for it, right at the entrance of the hotel, is quite small, so it can turn out to be somewhat limited. The quality of the products was adequate, although a bit more variety of fruit would be appreciated. As a positive point, the area has several public transportation alternatives nearby, especially the subway, which facilitates travel and allows one to move comfortably around Paris. In short, a functional hotel for a short stay, especially if you are looking for accommodation in the La Défense area and value transport connections. Although the rooms and facilities have room for improvement, it serves its purpose and the location is practical for visiting the city."

"The room was nothing like the photos that we were shown when booking the room was very small and smelt of tobacco we were charged a city tax that we had already paid though Booking.com but the receptionist was adamant that we should pay the city tax before we were booked in and given a room key This is my first ever review that I have written but I feel I must warn others about the state of the rooms"
