"⚠️ BEWARE OF VILLA ALESSANDRA HOTEL— THEFT IN MULTIPLE ROOMS AND NO MANAGEMENT SUPPORT! ⚠️
Absolutely appalling experience. We were robbed, violated, and completely let down by this hotel.
My friends and I stayed at Villa Alessandra Hotel in Paris, expecting a safe and comfortable place to stay. Instead, our trip was ruined by theft from multiple hotel rooms, followed by an incredibly disappointing lack of support from the hotel’s management.
In Room 203, which I shared with two friends, money and a designer signature bag were stolen from our locked luggage. To make matters even worse, a brand-new, sealed, unopened 100ml Versace perfume that I had purchased at duty-free was also taken from our room.
Even more concerning, Room 403 was also targeted. Two of my friends were staying in that room, and both lost money that they had carefully kept inside their locked luggage.
Multiple people across two separate rooms lost their valuables. This is extremely concerning and raises serious questions about the security of guests’ belongings at this hotel.
We were careful with our belongings while shopping around Paris, fully aware of the risks of pickpocketing and theft on the streets. We never imagined that we would have to worry about our belongings being stolen inside our own hotel rooms. A hotel should be somewhere guests feel safe, not somewhere they return to discover that their valuables have disappeared from locked luggages.
The incident happened on Friday, and we discovered the losses when we returned to the hotel that evening. We reported the incident to the police, and the entire process took approximately three hours of our valuable time. Instead of enjoying our trip, we were forced to spend hours dealing with the distress and inconvenience of having our belongings stolen.
What made this experience even worse was the complete lack of support from the hotel’s management. Despite the seriousness of the situation involving multiple guests and two separate rooms, there was no manager or assistant manager available to handle our complaints. We were told that the manager would not be available until Tuesday.
Tuesday was too late for us. We had already left the hotel and could not wait around for someone in management to address such a serious incident.
How is it acceptable for a hotel to have no manager nor assistant manager available to deal with an incident of this severity? When guests report theft from their rooms, especially involving multiple people, they deserve immediate attention, proper assistance, and a clear explanation of what steps will be taken. Being told to wait until Tuesday, when we had already left, was simply unacceptable.
We were left to deal with the police, the stress, the financial loss, and the uncertainty ourselves, without the management support we reasonably expected from the hotel.
What makes this even more worrying is that there was a review of similar theft incident last June 2026 in this hotel. This raises further concerns about whether sufficient security measures are in place and whether these incidents are being taken seriously.
How can guests feel safe when their belongings can disappear from a locked luggage, and no member of senior management is available when something so serious happens?
The purpose of booking a hotel is to have a safe place to stay and leave your belongings while travelling. Instead, we were left feeling violated, distressed, and out of pocket, having lost money, a designer bag, and a brand-new duty-free perfume.
I strongly urge the hotel management to investigate what happened, review its security procedures, and take responsibility for addressing guests’ concerns. We deserve answers and appropriate action, not to be left feeling abandoned after such an upsetting incident.
MY ADVICE TO FUTURE GUESTS: PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING THIS HOTEL..
Take extra precautions with your valuables and do not automatically assume that your belongings will be safe simply because they are inside your hotel room or locked luggage.
A holiday should be about enjoying Paris and making wonderful memories, not spending three hours dealing with the police after discovering that your belongings have gone missing, only to find that no manager or assistant manager is available to help.
An absolutely distressing experience, unacceptable customer service, and a complete loss of trust in this hotel. The theft itself was bad enough, but the lack of timely management support made an already awful situation even worse. I would strongly caution other travellers to consider these concerns before choosing to stay here."
