A Haven of Safety, Comfort & Care. Especially for Solo Travellers. Travelling alone as a woman can feel daunting, but from the moment I arrived, I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The team at Sunrise Remal doesn’t just do customer service, they master it.
One of the first people I met was Abdel Rahim, a young lifeguard whose professionalism and maturity far exceed his 20 years. He checked in on me, made sure I had everything I needed, and even cleaned my sunglasses to remove sun cream marks a thoughtful touch that says everything about the culture of this resort.
Beauty, Wellness & Poolside Bliss. The resort’s beauty parlour offers a full suite of treatments facials, hair, manicures, pedicures and the service was excellent. The entire poolside team deserves applause for their attentiveness and warmth. I met Nareen the manager who is so helpful and two beauticians who work very hard. Mahmoud who did my hair can make it look at a celebrity level!
And then there’s Alaa, the legendary pool bar maestro. He runs the bar with effortless charm, remembering every guest’s drink preferences and serving them before you even ask. He is, without question, one of the resort’s greatest assets.
Reception Excellence: A Masterclass in Hospitality. From the moment you step into the lobby, you’re greeted by a reception team that radiates pride and professionalism.
Hossam, Islam, “Superman,” and Reception Manager Mohammed Abdel Salam deliver service that is seamless, warm, and genuinely heartfelt. They made every part of my stay smooth, enjoyable, and stress‑free.
Dining That Delights: Every Single Time. The catering and hospitality team work tirelessly to deliver a flawless dining experience at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Special thanks to Ali, Said, Mohammed, and the entire team who made me feel like royalty — from preparing my table in advance to remembering my favourite drinks and even bringing extra treats they knew I’d love. Yes… including more chips! You also have the choice of a selection of Al a crate meals which need to be pre booked.
The culinary highlight? Chef Allam.
His pastry skills are mesmerising — both savoury and sweet creations crafted with flair, precision, and showmanship. Watching him roll, spin, and shape dough is entertainment in itself. Guests of all ages adored him, and rightly so. He is a star.

Entertainment & Bar Staff: Joyful, Energetic, Unforgettable. The entertainment team makes a genuine effort to connect with guests including their very own “Hulk,” who brings fun and energy to every interaction.
The bar staff are quick, witty, and always one step ahead, preparing your favourite drinks before you even think to ask.
