"We arrived to a really lovely surprise with an upgrade to a deluxe room, and honestly from that moment on the whole week just exceeded anything we expected. We’ve come away genuinely blown away. It felt like unexpected luxury in the best way, nothing flashy or over the top, just beautifully done and incredibly well looked after.
The grounds are stunning. Everything is so well manicured and maintained, and there’s wildlife everywhere which we loved, birds, butterflies, fish, it just adds to the whole calm feel. The pools, especially near the deluxe chalets, are really quiet and peaceful, and the beach is just as nice. Little touches like fresh flowers on the pool tables make it feel that bit more special.
Our deluxe room was gorgeous. A really good size, with a day bed on the terrace overlooking the gardens which we used all the time. The décor is classy and calming, and the beds and linen are so comfortable. We both slept brilliantly every single night, it’s incredibly quiet. The bathroom was always spotless, well stocked, with fresh linen daily and a great shower.
There are so many thoughtful touches that you don’t always get. Fresh beach towels delivered to the room every day in a lovely tote bag, 2 to 3 bottles of water left in the room for free, a stocked mini bar, tea and coffee, and excellent WiFi throughout the resort which made everything really easy. Housekeeping are amazing. Everything is properly cleaned, day beds done daily, covers changed during the stay, even the sofas are cleaned between guests so it always feels fresh.
The staff really make this place. Every single person is so friendly and attentive, and you can tell they’re well trained but also that they genuinely care. There’s a real sense that the management and team are proud of the hotel. There are lots of staff around and it shows, everything is clean, tidy and just runs smoothly. From the moment you arrive to when you leave, you feel really looked after. Concierge were brilliant, I needed help with some medication I hadn’t brought enough of and they actually took me to a pharmacy and translated for me. That meant a lot. We also had a daily call to the room just to check everything was ok, which was a really nice touch.
Food wise, it was good with a decent amount of choice. The dining room can be a bit noisy with the usual clatter, which you expect with all inclusive. We ate out a few times and would really recommend Pomodoro nearby, it’s excellent value and the food is genuinely delicious and fresh.
There’s also a Starbucks on site which is handy.
What stood out most for us is how peaceful everything felt. It honestly felt like being on a retreat. Everything is so well cared for and thought through, and it all just works.
We’ve had the most wonderful week and it completely took us by surprise in the best possible way. We left feeling so relaxed and looked after, and we’re already planning to come back. We will definitely be returning next April."
