Steigenberger Coraya Beach

"To say it upfront: I liked the hotel very much; the following complaining is at a high level, but a hotel that adorns itself with 5 stars (and charges corresponding prices) could still improve in one or two places. Rooms, food, outdoor facilities (pool, gardens), and the attentiveness of the staff are at an appropriately high level. But for one thing, my room, especially in the bathroom, showed initial signs of aging that good maintenance should eliminate (shower heads, tile grouting). For another: the hotel is an adults-only hotel, so people go there who need a quiet break from their stressful job; why then the omnipresent background music, while eating, at the pool, in the bars, actually everywhere? And if you then also have a room with a view of the pool area (there are also many rooms with a great sea view), even the last retreat from the entertainment program is lost."

"Best location on Coraya beach. A change from a big-size mattress to a room with separate beds was made possible immediately. Clean, well-maintained hotel complex with many entertainment options. But even if you want some peace and quiet, you have enough places to retreat to. Evening entertainment mostly rather subtle, from oriental to rock. Great fire show. Always friendly and fast service, even at the beach. German and English are spoken. We would love to come back!"

"The Steigenberger Coraya Beach resort offers everything you could imagine. The food was of very good quality. The pool and beach were always clean and very well-maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special praise goes to Ahmed at the reception. Unfortunately, during our time, the jetty was under renovation and thus access to the reef was not possible. This could only be reached via Coraya Bay. We will definitely come back."
