"This was my fourth or fifth stay at Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay, and somehow, every visit manages to become even more memorable than the one before it. This time, the experience was simply marvelous from beginning to end. At this point, Kempinski Soma Bay no longer feels like just a hotel we visit for a vacation. It genuinely feels like our second home—a place where we are welcomed by people who remember us, care about our experience, and consistently make us feel that nothing we could ask for is too much. Once again, there are several wonderful people whom I must personally thank, because they played a major role in turning this stay into an unforgettable family experience. Mahmoud Sallam – Front Office Mahmoud continues to be one of the main reasons I keep returning to this hotel. From the moment I contacted him, he made the entire reservation process effortless. Instead of booking through a third-party application, I reserved directly with Mahmoud, and he personally selected an incredible room for us. The view was absolutely breathtaking—a full, dreamlike view that made every morning and evening feel special. Mahmoud is not simply someone who assists with reservations or front-office matters. He has successfully become my go-to person for almost anything I need at the hotel, and even someone whose opinion I genuinely trust when deciding what to do during my stay. He is always welcoming, constantly following up, and making sure that everything is going perfectly. He has a special way of making me feel that whatever I wish for can be arranged and that I never have to worry about anything. Based on Mahmoud’s recommendations, I booked three different experiences on the same day: a cooking class for my daughters, a massage for my wife, and a romantic anniversary dinner. Every one of them turned out to be an outstanding choice. Mahmoud, thank you once again for your kindness, your care, and your consistency. You do not simply help guests—you make them feel known, valued, and truly at home. Hanaa – Guest Relations The amount of effort Hanaa made to ensure that our three activities were perfectly organized was tremendous. Coordinating a cooking class, a massage, and a romantic dinner on the same day required communication and cooperation between several departments. Hanaa handled everything with remarkable professionalism, flexibility, patience, and attention to detail. What impressed me the most was that everything was prepared exactly at the times we requested. There was no confusion, no unnecessary waiting, and no stress. We were simply able to enjoy each activity while she quietly made sure that everything behind the scenes was running smoothly. Her ability to manage the entire situation and turn several separate activities into one seamless and unforgettable day is something she should be very proud of. Hanaa, thank you for your dedication and for making sure that every member of our family had a special experience. Your efforts helped create memories that we will talk about for a very long time. Coach Ahmed – Gym Dude, I honestly cannot thank you enough! The training session was fantastic. The tips you gave me were extremely valuable, and the way you explained how to target each muscle properly made a huge difference. My muscles were still sore afterward—which, in this situation, is definitely a compliment! What made the training even better was how friendly and comfortable everything felt. Our conversations between sets made the workout more enjoyable, and the session felt less like training alone on vacation and more like working out with a knowledgeable friend. I was also very impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the gym. Coach Ahmed clearly takes health, hygiene, and sanitization seriously, and it shows in the condition of the facility and equipment. The new gym equipment is also an excellent addition. It now covers a much wider variety of muscle groups and makes it possible to have a genuinely complete workout. Now I can enjoy my vacations completely guilt-free, knowing that I do not have to abandon my training routine while staying at the hotel! Coach Ahmed, thank you for your energy, knowledge, motivation, and friendliness. I am already looking forward to training with you again during the next visit. Nancy – Spa Nancy, we definitely missed seeing you in the restaurant because you always brought such a lovely and positive atmosphere there. However, it was wonderful to meet you again at the spa and know that you are doing well. Our conversation was, as always, warm, friendly, and enjoyable. Some people have a natural ability to make others feel comfortable simply through their presence, and Nancy is certainly one of those people. It was genuinely lovely catching up with you, and I hope we continue to see you during our future visits—wherever in the hotel you may be! Albert – Restaurant Albert continues to maintain the same outstanding level of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail that we have always appreciated. Even during crowded and busy dining periods, he still found the time to check on us, make sure we were comfortable, and ensure that nothing at our table was left unattended. Maintaining such a high standard during quieter times is one thing, but maintaining it when the restaurant is full demonstrates true professionalism and dedication. The dining experience remained smooth, organized, and enjoyable throughout our stay. The food was excellent, the restaurant was spotless, and the service was consistently attentive. Albert, thank you for always making us feel looked after and for continuing to deliver the same wonderful experience every time we visit. Azzam and Hamada – Maintenance Azzam and Hamada are officially the heroes of this vacation! My daughter accidentally dropped her ring into the sink while washing her hands. Naturally, this resulted in immediate panic, tears, and a complete family drama. For a few moments, it honestly felt as though the entire vacation might be ruined. Then Azzam and Hamada came to the rescue. They calmly inspected the situation, dismantled the pipes, and successfully retrieved the ring. Their patience, professionalism, and willingness to help turned what could have become a terrible memory into a story we can now laugh about. Thanks to these two heroes, the ring was recovered, my daughter was happy again, the family drama ended, and we all lived happily ever after! Azzam and Hamada, thank you for responding so quickly and for treating something that mattered deeply to my daughter as though it mattered just as much to you. You truly saved the day. The Experiences The Romantic Dinner I would wholeheartedly recommend the romantic dinner experience to anyone wishing to surprise their spouse or partner. It is much more than simply having dinner on the beach. It feels like a beautiful reawakening of love within the relationship—a private moment where the couple can disconnect from everything else and focus completely on one another. We celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary, and the setting could not have been more perfect. Dining directly on the beach beneath the moonlight, surrounded by dim lights and a heart-shaped decoration in the sand, made the evening feel almost unreal. The atmosphere was intimate, peaceful, romantic, and beautifully designed. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The service deserves a rating of 1000 out of 10. Every detail was handled with care, and we felt completely looked after throughout the evening. It was not simply dinner. It was a full emotional experience and a core memory that my wife and I will carry with us forever. Thank you to everyone involved in preparing such a magical anniversary celebration. You made our 16th anniversary truly unforgettable. The Cooking Class The cooking class was one of the happiest and most exciting experiences for my two daughters. They had the opportunity to enter the real kitchen at Al Mar and cook alongside Chef Fathy Salah. For them, this was not just an activity—it was an adventure. Chef Fathy was incredibly welcoming, patient, and friendly. He knew exactly how to communicate with each of my daughters according to her age—one is 13 and the other is 7—and made sure that both of them felt equally involved and excited. He taught them step by step, encouraged them, answered their questions, and allowed them to genuinely participate in preparing the food. The best part was that we were able to eat what they cooked afterward—and it was honestly delicious! Seeing how proud and excited they were made the experience even more special for us as parents. Chef Fathy, thank you for your kindness, patience, and for giving our daughters an experience they will always remember. You did not simply teach them how to cook; you made them feel like real chefs for the day. The Massage The massage experience was exactly what my wife needed. She had been experiencing neck cramps and tense muscles for some time, and the treatment helped her relax completely. After the session, she felt refreshed, comfortable, and noticeably relieved. The peaceful spa environment, professional treatment, and overall sense of care allowed her to disconnect, rest, and enjoy some much-needed personal time. Seeing her return feeling so relaxed and happy made the experience worth every moment. Thank you to the spa team for taking such wonderful care of her and making the experience so calming and beneficial. A Place We Will Always Return To Overall, this stay was truly the experience of a lifetime, and we already know that we will do it again—and again, and again.
