Metin Hotel

"Nice family run small quiet hotel. Centrally located near bars, restuarants and river boats. Basic continental breakfast. Dalyan is a lovely town, surrounded by beautiful scenery, with probably 50 bars and restuarants.Beach is 15min by bus and 35 min by boat - the co-operative boats are cheap and you can hop on any for the return journey. Only 3 stars because the English patrons towel the sunbeds (and we thought it was only the Germans that did this) every morning despite the signs saying not to. Only one side of the pool gets sun. Hotel staff don't address this so only 3 stars. Sorry, I wont stay at The Metin again if only for this reason."

"A warm friendly welcome we received from all the staff at this lovely small and friendly hotel! The location is excellent, very central to all amenities,, the hotel was comfortable and clean, overall a lovely stay and would stay again!"

"We have just had a 11night holiday in the Metin hotel. We did have a nice time, but The hotel itself is very basic and in need of a good spruce up. The rooms were ok, good air con, but the rooms were very old but ok to get ya head down and That’s all we needed. The pool was nice, 6ft deep all round, and ok to get a sunbed. The breakfasts were pretty poor, salad or toast was the only option really, and every couple days they’d put omelettes on, they serve at 8am and if you go one minute earlier than the start time the staff will tell you your not aloud to eat till 8am on the dot. The area where you eat breakfast is getting old and could do with some good modernization along with the hotel itself. The grounds of the hotel weren’t well maintained like the photo on the site. Flowers and trees and grass overgrown. The hotel staff at reception were helpful, and nice though, and the pool bar itself is decent, you can get pretty much any drink, and it’s reasonable on price, but the food wasn’t great. The hotel is a 1 minute walk from the town strip so it’s ideal for location. And Dalyan itself is lovely, loads of bars and restaurants, and loads of mosquitos, loads. A suppose all in all you get what you pay for and the Metin was pretty much that. I’d say 2 star. We’d go back cause of how close it is to the strip but will go to do a more updated hotel next time, that’s more modern."
