La Badira - Adult Only

"My wife and I's second visit after a seven-year gap, this time we're on business, so less bandwidth for indulgence like spa visits and slow dinners. Stayed in a deluxe double with west-facing seaview on the second floor. Mood highlight: watching the sun slide out of the sea at sunrise as fishermen in small boats cleaned their nets... The warm service remains and the hotel's standards (cleanliness, quietness, relaxing atmosphere and prime beach landing) have held up fairly well. Special recognition to Abdallah from housekeeping who went above and beyond to make us feel at home and special. Glad to find the dripping honeycomb still featured at breakfast - these memorable touches matter. Honestly the best value for money we've experienced at this price point anywhere in the world (and we've been around), especially considering comparable properties in the Leading Hotels network. Scored them a four because we have super-high standards and 4.5 is not available. Would definitely return."

"The staff at La Badira are second to none. They are friendly and hard working, no one is ever standing around even when it isn’t busy they’re cleaning up or restocking items. They took our bags the second we got out of our taxi and wouldn’t let us lift a finger. They were funny, witty and welcoming. The bar staff at both the lobby bar and the pool were brilliant t, recommending cocktails of the day. They would regularly approach us to check if our glasses were finished with and would ask if we needed anything more but I never felt forced to order more or like they were trying to push us to spend more money. The breakfast waiting staff remembered our preferences from day one and would ask if I wanted a cappuccino as soon as I got to my table and my partner orange juice (which they ran to get as it had run out at the self serve) The reception staff were great at recommending where to explore locally and had a welcome drink ready for us the second we arrived. I can’t thank the staff enough. They seriously all need recognised and I wish I caught more of their names so I could personally thank them on this but I feel all staff went over and above to ensure our stay was memorable."

"The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Special mention to Houssiam, one of the pool waiters. One of the nicest guys i have met on holiday and i have been all over the world. Check-In You get a welcome drink while you wait, we waited 10 or 15 minutes. Not the end of the world Room Not 5 star, but nice all the same. Probably somewhere between 3 and 4 star. Shower is great. We had an amazing view out to the sea. Bed is very comfy. We left some tips to the maid and we got extra pillows. Very thoughtful maids. Breakfast Food is very tasty, although the food is quite repetitive. Pool As mentioned above, Houssam made our holiday. Pool is great and it is a great view out to the sea. Dinners Not included in package, but if you have dinner in the hotel, the dinners are amazing."
