"I have travelled extensively and worldwide in my 70yrs but I have never been so upset and disgusted on a holiday as I have been at this hotel. When I booked the hotel the photos for the 1 bed apartment showed a walk in shower. Because of medical issues I requested this on booking. I also requested bed linen for the studio couch in the living room as we intended using it.. It was early when we arrived but were able to check in. Our room wasn't ready until 4pm. We had to pay €100 deposit for the room and we got 2 beach towels,€5 for the week each and €10 deposit for each. If you needed to change them out during the week it would cost €1 to change them. None of this was stated in the booking. The pool was lovely but as there was entertainment most of the day it was fairly noisy, we got used to that. We got our keys at 4pm. When we got to our room we discovered no walk in shower just a bath with a shower on the wall. My daughter opened up the couch and immediately could see the frame was broken. It wouldn't open up completely and when she sat on it it would fold in from the middle. I headed down to reception to complain. They told me they can't always fulfill requests but maybe on Saturday they could change us. They sent a maintenance person up to fix the couch but he told us that he couldn't move it on his own and it would have to wait until Saturday to have it replaced. He did bring us a mattress to go on top of the first mattress which helped to keep the couch from folding in the middle. Saturday morning I headed to reception again. No chance of a room change and they had no couch to change our one out with. My daughter also tried to taken a shower and the shower head kept falling over so she had to hold it to give herself a shower. They guaranteed that they would have a room to change us to on the Sunday. A maintenance man came and secured the shower on the wall but still could not do anything with the couch. By the way we just got 3 large bath towels and one hand towels in the room. I was told on check in that they would be changed every 3 days so ours were dues for a change on Monday and Thursday. I asked one of the housekeeping for more hand towels and she told me to go to reception. Sunday came and I headed for reception again. I was told sorry no rooms available until Monday. At this stage I asked for a manager and one receptionist there was not going to get one but I stuck it out and insisted and they got me a manager called Vanesha. I just lost it then. I was so upset,3 days of battling for what we had booked. She came to the room and looked at the problems and the dirty furniture. I wouldn't even sit in the rattan chair in the room it was so dirty. She said their was a room allocated to us to change into on the Monday but she could change out the couch for us. With the guarantee that we would be moved on the Monday my daughter said she would leave it as it was. A free breakfast was offered to us for our troubles! Monday arrived and Vanesha was true to her work and had our room ready as soon as possible and the transition was easy. The room and bathroom looked fine when we got there. The couch opened up properly and they even brought the extra mattress down for my daughter. It was later in the day I realised it was an apartment meant for a wheelchair and the shower was like a wet room. Didn't matter if it worked! That is an understatement. Taking a shower there we had the same problem with the shower head,it would not stay upright and the whole bathroom was like a swimming pool. Water everywhere. Tuesday morning back to reception. The shower head needed fixing and the air conditioning wasn't working either. A maintenance man came and fixed the shower head and supposedly fixed the air conditioning. Wednesday morning the air conditioning still wasn't working. It was cooler outside at 27 degrees. Reported it again and was told it was out all over the hotel. It was working at the reception. They brought 2 fans which were useless. Thursday morning Vanesha asked how things were going. I told her about the air conditioning and the fact after our showers we had to mop out the full bathroom. She asked if there was any curtain or glass there and I told her no. She said she'd try to get us a portable air conditioning until but that never arrived. I was so tired of complaining at this stage. Our towels etc never got changed out on Thursday. I was so glad to head home on the Friday. Please take these reviews seriously. I didnt and was so sorry I didnt. This hotel was not cheap by any means and there are a lot of hidden expenses you are not aware of until you get to the hotel."

"I stayed in palm beach August2024 with family was fairly satisified so we made a return the end of September 2025 , WHATEVER has happened in a year this hotel is like a complete different place from the STAFF,ROOMS AND SERVICE ! 100Eur upon arrival on card for an deposit on a filthy ,mouldy outdated room a deposit is normal n most hotels but it did not state in booking, We recieved 2 towels for the week !!! [The room gets cleaned once a week every 4 days so [if your going for a week it would be once a week! ]and when we requested more towels on reception the response was rude and was like we were asking for too much they then proceed to tell us in a negative tone it was 10eur if we damage them !The room we stayed in 2024 last year was fine and you could agree with it for the value of, This year the doors had chips and bits missing from them small damp wardrobe with the previous owners dirt and tags left there ,rusty balcony doors and the shower curtain was unstable and fell on top of us ! We received 2 room keys and we so happen to just not be mindful and leave them in the room once at at the start of the holiday so the second time we did it our second last night accidently the receptionist told us it was our second time loosing our key what we were we doing with them we told them it was accidental its in our room and proceeded to pay 4,50 as you would to get back into our room ! There was often times I would have bikini top/swimming costume top on with trousers and the managers and security guards would not let us to the desk unless i covered Overall i would not think twice if staying here again keep your money unless you want poor unprofesional service and sickness from staying in a damp outdated room The only good part was the location was local and central and the animation team made our stay a tiny bit better with their entertainment !"
