Maspalomas Villas by Dunas

"Stayed for a week in the exclusive Villas section. 2 bed suite with large bathroom and small lounge. Cleaned daily with water and coffee topped up. Pool bar a short stroll away for extra bottled water when required. Well laid out villas with enough privacy (depending on which one you get). Bar staff are really friendly, specially Antonio, who make a big difference to the holiday. Cocktails taste a little artificial to start with but I stopped noticing after the first few. We're not big on group events but the archery was fun. Yoga, fitness, bingo, voleyball and Petanque are also available. There is a small but well equipped gym that was almost always free although not all equipment was working. All-inclusive food was good. The exclusive section had some nice table service extras at breakfast such as freshly made eggs benedict, poached eggs on avo, greek yoghurt with fruit etc.. Some items did run low at times during service but I think this is common at all-inclusive buffets where there can be a scrum for certain items. On the whole we all found something we liked and certainly did not go hungry. We stopped going for lunch after the second day.... Table service (only at the Vills pool) pool snacks included chicken Caeser salad and quesidillas (ask for mucho jalapenos) were fantastic. Evening entertainment was variable. The Elvis impersonator was excellent. The "Variety Show" was really poor unless slapstick is your thing. The Suites area pool bar was open until 11pm, so was a good place fo a quite family game. In the Villas area, pool towels can be changed every day free of charge. Check-out was smooth. We were asked to vacate the room by noon, were allowed to stay around the pool, were given a lunch voucher (which nobody asked for) and a room for 45 minutes to take a shower before catching our taxi at 5pm. You can keep your own room for late checkout if you wish but they charge Eur20 per 2 hours and I'm not sure if this is per person. First all-inclusive for 20 years and not disappointed. The dunes are a 25 minute stroll away and it's possible to do a fantastic 2 hour circular walk, just take plenty of water. Camel rides are available nearby but i didn't look very comfortable. And beware, the nudest beach starts a mere 400m from the family beach closest to the town. The odd naturist can be found walking back into town having "forgotten" to put their trunks back on. Their tongue was also out, naturally."

"A lot of green, well kept by gardeners. Big villa (Max 4 persons but we were with 2 per villa). Villa's are cleaned daily. and with cleaned daily I mean Clean! I could not find any spot with dust or dirt. Quite environment. Adults only. All inclusive with premium services. From entering the park, receiving information until leaving it, all was very well thought of. From towel change at the pool to quite place for breakfast, lunch and dinner, everything was excellent. Planning next trip for next year to Premium Villa's by Dunas."
