Chatur Palmera Mar

"Wonderful stay at Palmera Mar. Room was spotless with daily cleaning and towels. Very large balcony with the most fantastic view over Amadores beach. With sun loungers and table and chairs. Negatives were minor - WiFi was terrible & couldn't get the tv to work. Just minor problems. I'd also not anticipated how high up from the beach we were. Took around 15/20 mins to walk down but the taxis were really cheap back up the hill, around 4 euros. Ideal for fitter adults but I wouldn't recommend if you have any type of mobility issues. Plenty of lovely restaurants along the beach and some fun bars at Europa Center up the road from hotel. Pool and bar close around 6.30pm so you need to make plans for evening food and entertainment, this maybe just because of late season. Breakfast was ok, first few days hot food had been sat for ages and looked dried up, however towards the end of the week they were preparing it to order. Hotel was very quiet, perfect spot to relax. Staff were lovely. Highly recommended."

"View was amazing, rooms clean and beds comfortable. Bathroom was a major let down shower hot/ cold all the time! Bathroom was like a swimming pool so had to use shower at half power. Spoke to reception was given a mop and bucket🤦‍♀️"

"Amazing views from the hotel, fortunate enough to have sunbeds on the balcony (from floor 5 upwards this is available). Staff friendly and helpful. Pool clean and well maintained. Food at breakfast goos quality, varied day to day with cava available each day. Cooked elements of the breakfast were a little on the cool side but reacted to the comment and temperature of the holding counter raised the following day. Rooms spacious with fridge with small freezer compartment and kettle . Beds comfy, no air con but ceiling fans in both bedroom and living room and maintained a comfortable temperature. Amadores is a beautiful beach with limited restaurants available for evening meals at the beach and in the europa centre at the top of the hill. Neighbouring town of puerto rico has a lot more choice available for evening drinks and meals Set of steps (709 steps) available for access to puerto rico by the spar shop or the coast line path by amadores beach. Good 20 minute walk for either option. Would recommend location and hotel and would come back in the future."
