"I enjoyed my stay at Grand Plaza very much - their junior suite was beautiful and spacious, and I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, often going the extra mile for their guests. Breakfast was rich and tasty. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have a spa. Good location."

"We recently stayed at this hotel and found both positive aspects and significant shortcomings. Positive points: • Excellent location, only a 10-minute walk to the city center. • The lobby is spacious, well-designed, and has a pleasant scent. • Staff were friendly and welcoming. • Breakfast was very good, offering a wide variety of choices. Areas for improvement: • Parking costs €30 per day, which is quite expensive compared to similar properties. • Bottled water placed in the room is charged additionally. • Housekeeping was unsatisfactory from day one, the room was not cleaned for three days during my stay. • The bedsheet was torn, which does not reflect five-star quality Overall assessment: While the hotel has strengths, particularly in its location, lobby, and breakfast, the overall quality falls short of a five-star standard. Based on my experience, it is closer to a four-star hotel, and in some respects even three-star"

"This is an excellent hotel near the city centre, with a good restaurant but the service from the desk staff was exceptional. When our room turned out not to have a bathtub as we had boked we were immediately relocated to another and superior room. The concierge and other staff on the front desk took the trouble to spend a lot of time answering our queries and giving good advice on where to eat and making bookings for us. And as a bonus there was also a special cake for my birthday. Would certainly stay there again when next in Ljubljana"
