"Hotel clean and basic. Don't book this expecting luxurious accommodation. The price is cheap and the stay reflects that. Staff were helpful - especially with advising we use the car park discount they can provide as this saved us a lot of money. The room is comfortable and, as it was for just one night stay, we were ok with managing without the extras that make hotel stays lovely - like tea and coffee provided in rooms. One pillow per person was provided. These pillows were uneven (wadding) and flat - so we requested two extra pillows. Staff were happy to accommodate this request and these were delivered to the room quickly. Both of the new pillows were far firmer and better quality. Perhaps the hotel should stock check the pillows and remove ones that are no longer suitable for use and perhaps could give two per person in the rooms as standard? Duvet and pillow covers were surprisingly good quality and the bed very comfortable. Heating can be controlled in the room so we were warm in the cold February weather. Staff member on duty as we left could not have been more helpful in ensuring everything was taken care of for our checkout and onward journey. Overall a nice stay for one night on our way home after a two week tour of Europe."

"+ Very close to beach but still quiet, you only hear doors opening but no sound from the street. The lady checking me was super friendly and warm. Great value deal for Scheveningen. - The air circulation system is loud, if you turn it off then you get smells in your room of other toilets and smokers outside. This is inconvenient seeing as you can't open the windows. Also, cleaning could be better, the remote and TV were sticky and there was dust in certain corners."

"-stained towels and bed linen -silicone in the shower was mouldy -cleaners never came to restock toilet paper/change towels halfway through our stay (stayed for 5+ days) -ventilation system is extremely loud -fecal splatters all over the toilet bowl -unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom"
