"We spent 4 relaxing days at Riad Altair. Perfect location, in the heart of the medina but once you step inside the front door you are in a peaceful, calm oasis. Our bedroom was comfortable, with aircon. The staff were so kind and friendly, helping with taxi bookings, organising tour guides and our amazing sunrise hot air balloon ride. The views from the rooftop terrace over the medina were stunning, you could just make out the Atlas Mountains! A plentiful breakfast every morning is included and we had dinner on two evenings, both delicious home cooked meals. Thank you so much Abdou, Yassin and the whole team!"

"We have just spent 7 nights at the Riad Altair, our first time in Marrakech. We had a wonderful time! The hotel is beautiful, a haven of peace after exploring the city. Our room was lovely, spacious with a large bathroom. The hotel is well placed and within easy reach of the main attractions. There is a lovely roof area to relax in the sun if you wish. We cannot praise the staff highly enough, they are all so cheerful and helpful. We ate in the hotel each evening and the food was superb. Each night chef Saida served us three courses of traditional Moroccan cuisine, delicious. Yassine, our waiter, was always happy and smiling, he always explained the dish and its ingredients and was very helpful in telling us how to get to the places we were visiting. Thanks also to Samira who cleaned our rooms and, on one evening, also cooked us a lovely meal. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of fresh fruits, home made yoghurt, pancakes, fresh bread, croissants and sweet pastries and eggs. Finally, a special thank you to Abdou, the manager, who made us feel so welcome and was always helpful. This a fabulous place to stay and we would not hesitate to go there again."
