Family fun near an idyllic cove
As the name suggests, this Sardinian resort feels more like a Mediterranean village, with its buildings stretched across a hill that overlooks the beautiful Aranci Gulf.
Colonna Village offers a fantastic range of facilities for families with children, whether they’re babies or teens. There’s a dedicated nursery and play areas for toddlers, while older kids will love the kids’ club – which provides endless entertainment, from sports to discos – and meals tailored just for them. And everyone will enjoy the tennis courts, football field, swimming pools, and daily entertainment during the summer. Whether you join in with a yoga or Pilates session, or head to the open-air theatre after dark to take in a show, you'll have plenty to keep you busy during your stay.
Throughout the resort you’ll encounter views of the sea, islets and rugged coastline that are nothing short of magnificent. Admire it from the comfort of your sun lounger on the gorgeous white sand cove that’s just a five-minute walk away.
Stay in a deluxe room and your commute from bed to beach will be a breeze as these rooms are closest to the shoreline. Classic, family, and premium-style rooms are scattered further inland, though you'll never be more than 10 minutes' walk – or 600m – from the soft white sand. And with a shuttle service that whizzes through the resort from reception to the beach, you can give your legs a rest when need be.
The buffet and à la carte restaurants at Colonna Village offer a selection of Sardinian, Italian and international dishes, and there are several bars offering light lunches and drinks. The inviting rooms all feature balconies overlooking the pretty Mediterranean gardens, with some boasting wonderful views.
All of this, plus you’re in one of the most beautiful parts of northeast Sardinia, just a short drive from many more incredible beaches. Although with one of the best right on your doorstep, we wouldn’t blame you for staying put.
Just so you know, there may be a reduced range of facilities available during the quieter months (April, May, September and October). This means selected restaurants and outdoor hotel facilities, for example pools and waterparks (if applicable), may be closed during your stay.
