"We had a fabulous stay at the Continental hotel for 4 nights. Excellent location, about a 15 minute walk to the centre. Room and hotel generally were very clean, staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was busy if you went at peak time as is usually the case in any hotel but the selection of food on offer was wide ranging and excellent, no complaints at all in this regard, especially when weighed up against what we were paying - we've paid far more for a Premier Inn and breakfast in England. Thoroughly recommended for a City break."

"Pros: - Good location in the heart of the Jewish quarter, 15min walk into the centre of Pest - Staff were friendly and helpful - Housekeeping were very attentive - Room was clean and spacious (deluxe double) - Indoor pool and sauna is a plus and was very warm, if not a bit small. Outdoor rooftop pool was shut but meant to be open during our visit. This was disappointing. - Check out at 12pm is helpful and you can leave your luggage if you have an evening flight. Cons: - Room on first floor facing the street was noisy at night so we couldn’t keep the window open, which meant the room was warm without the aircon on. Also, the room faced a demolished building which meant our view wasn’t great. We asked for an upgrade, but the hotel was full. - Breakfast room was chaotic and some of the food wasn’t replaced. Hot food could have been hotter and some of the staff were a little rude. That said there was a great selection of food to choose from. - No proper lounge or bar area to relax in during the evenings. - Gym is functional but a little tired. Overall this hotel is decent value for money, but if you’re looking for something more luxurious then look elsewhere. Would we return here, no, but then like to visit different places."
