"We came for a week at the end of the season with medium expectations. The hotel its self is nice and clean, with reception staff very helpful and around 24/7. The pool bar is okay, the bartender was rude on our first day. I asked if they had Malibu as there was no menu for cocktails or spirits, the bartender grunted and shoved a menu towards me and said no only what’s on here. Peach schnapps was on the menu, I asked for this, the bartender said no. I asked another bartender and the other bartender explained because it’s end of season they don’t have any. I appreciate we came at the end of the season, but would have been preferred to be told this the first time instead of being grunted at. The room itself is nice, however the shower leaks so the bathroom was wet constantly and the shower head kept moving resulting in us holding it to have an actual shower. The room has air on which we enjoyed, however we found there was a few ants in the room. The balcony was nice and overlooked the pool. The cleaners were lovely, and couldn’t do enough to help. The food was a bit hit and miss. Breakfast was good, lunch was okay but dinner we couldn’t eat so we ate out every night, however I appreciate the hotel is all inclusive and has a lot to cater for. There was alot of food and even on the day the hotel closed there was loads of food. Restaurant staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. There’s four pools, and all are freezing, however we didn’t find this an issue as we had hot weather. The pools were a bit dirty with dead flies in it, however we fished these out. The staff took away sun loungers two days before the hotel shut however. The hotel is in a nice area, with a one minute walk to the nearest shop, restaurant and bar, a five minute walk to the beach and a ten minute walk to the strip. The hotel has two sections, with one bar in each. The main bar is nice, with friendly bartenders however it lacked atmosphere. I can appreciate we went at the end of the season though. Overall the hotel is nice, it’s clean for the most part and the majority of the staff are nice."

"I'll start on the positives- The staff are very friendly, there's a lot of pool space and the hotel is in a good location. The rooms are also nice and the balcony's are spacious. However there are some things to bear in mind before booking... FOOD&DRINKS-the options are limited and aren't very nice. We aren't very adventurous eaters and even struggled to get something as simple as fries. We ate out 8/10 nights and we only ate in for those 2 nights due to the rain. Swarms of wasps constantly around the drink machine and the all inclusive cocktail menu was small, as well as weak. PAPER THIN WALLS- despite not being peak season and the hotel not being full a child that cried constantly was put in the room right next to ours. The crying kept us awake at night and woke us most mornings. You can also hear the people either side of you talking, walking and dragging chairs. The cleaning staff (as friendly as they are) have no regard for people who may be sleeping. They were shouting right outside the rooms as early as 7am (5am UK time) and also played videos on their phones at max volume. When we got out of bed to ask them to turn it/keep it down, they did but then proceeded to do the exact same thing the following morning. ENTERTAINMENT- No night entertainment for guests. We were trapped in the hotel for night 6 and all day and night of day 7 of our holiday and nothing was put in place for us. The guests were left to sit in their rooms for 35 hours. To make this worse there were only 3 English channels on the TV's-2 of with were very depressing world news channels and the other was a documentary channel. In a nutshell this hotel is okay but definitely not a 4* in my opinion and we wouldn't stay again."

"Arrived at the white olive for our 14 night stay ,all I can say on arrival was welcomed by a lovely receptionist, got shown to room which was very nice very spacious ,housekeeping came every day 😊3 pools very relaxed only moan I'm going to say at night you have to walk across to get drinks ,entertainment twice a week ,beach is literally a 5 min walk , Food is lovely and just enough to choose from without being overwhelmed Not many English guests ( but not a problem) Limited cocktails Very comfy beds never slept so well We would return but crete awaits Thankyou white olive for our memorable holiday 😊"
