"Beautiful location, fantastic swimming pool and right on the beach. Would have been 4/5 stars had it not been for the following issues: Firstly, no designated smoking areas meant that the eating area was quite smokey at times from smokers sitting on the verandah which isn’t very nice when eating breakfast or sitting in the lounge area. Secondly, a word of advice if you have paid a deposit make sure you have the documentation to prove it as we were questioned at check out and called again at the airport asking us to pay an outstanding night which we already paid and had shown the manager proof. Manager could do well to learn some basic customer service skills. He did however eventually apologise by email once he’s found the payment on their antiquated system. To summarise I would stay at this hotel again if they sorted the smoking issues."

"Smokers spoil the experience for the non-smokers. The shared indoor spaces are smoke-filled all day long. If you have lung disease, or airways sensitivity, this hotel poses challenges. The management are powerless to control the environment in the shared indoor spaces due to smokers lighting up in the shared dining area. It is such a shame that such a beautiful hotel in such an iconic location is spoilt by the actions of smokers. When the management take responsibility for controlling the air quality in the shared spaces, I would be happy to return."

"We were looking for a hotel to relax in for three nights before chartering a boat from Lefkada for a week. It was exactly what we hoped it would be. The staff were friendly, the room simple but clean and had everything we needed, the pool was lovely and a short walk to some excellent tavernas. We'd definitely visit again."
