"The attitude of the guy on reception was unacceptable. After informing the guy on reception that I had not taken breakfast, I was then told he would not remove the charge, as far as he knew, I could be lying. As a business traveller and user of IHG for 15+ years, I have never received treatment like this. After speaking to the restaurant and verifying with two other people, it was confirmed I hadn't had breakfast, and the charge was removed. Not a great experience. I won't be returning."

"We stayed for a long weekend at this Holiday Inn hotel in the eastern part of Berlin. The hotel is just next to the tram station, and it takes 15-20 mins to be in Alexanderplatz, so it is very convenient. The hotel seems to be very recently renovated or a new property, so great spacious rooms. Being a diamond member, we were upgraded to a premium room with a free minibar, and bathrobes and slippers were there, too. The front desk staff is very polite and professional. Nothing to complain about. The breakfast area and quality/quantity of food were also top-notch. Highly recommended."

"The room was perfectly fine and comfortable. The hotel is very attractive and feels elegant yet cozy, gemuetlich :). The breakfast was very, very good. I have to say the staff were really WONDERFUL. So helpful and kind. The young man at the desk (he was even the bartender) was fantastic. We loved this hotel. Plus it is so well placed being next to the tram we used every day!"
