    Day 1 – Embarkation in Luxor

    Fly from the UK to Luxor and when you arrive, you'll hop on a transfer to your ship, ready for the start of your Nile cruise. You'll check in and get settled into your cabin, and the ship will remain in Luxor overnight.

    Day 2 – Luxor, Esna, and Edfu

    This morning is your chance to explore some of Luxor's highlights – tick off the Necropolis of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. After a morning exploring, board the ship again and sail to Edfu via the Esna Lock. The ship will dock overnight in Edfu.

    Day 3 – Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Aswan

    While docked in Edfu for the morning, disembark and pay a visit to the Edfu Temple, which is dedicated to Horus, the mythical son of Isis and Osiris. The ship will sail to Kom Ombo in the afternoon, where you can visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. Once everyone is back on board, the ship will continue down the river to Aswan.

    Day 4 – Aswan

    The ship will be docked in Aswan all day, so it's the perfect opportunity to visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the Temple of Philae. You could also fit in a relaxing trip on a felucca to take in views of the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island as you sail past. The ship will remain docked in Aswan overnight.

    Day 5 – Aswan

    You'll wake up in Aswan again today. In the morning, head over to Abu Simbel Temple, an ancient wonder that's well worth looking around. Spend the rest of the day on the ship making the most of the onboard facilities.

    Day 6 – Aswan, Kom Ombo, and Edfu

    The ship will start sailing to Kom Ombo early, so it's likely you'll wake up there. Squeeze in an early morning visit to the Kom Ombo Temple after breakfast before hopping back on the ship to sail on to Edfu. Here, you'll have some free time to explore before the ship starts sailing back towards Luxor.

    Day 7 – Luxor

    Set sail for your final destination of Luxor before enjoying one last dinner onboard. Finish off a perfect evening with a show featuring belly dancing and whirling dervishes.

    Check out of your cabin and disembark the ship. Ahead of your transfer to Luxor Airport for your return flight to the UK, you'll have the opportunity to to do a bit of last minute shopping in Luxor.

    Meet the ship: Steigenberger Legacy

    If you're looking to set sail on the River Nile in style and tick off many of Egypt's ancient wonders, this could well be the ship for you – it's like you picked up a luxury hotel and popped it on the Nile. The Steigenberger Legacy is a four-deck ship with cosy 19m² cabins, and a whole host of facilities that'll make life onboard smooth sailing.

    Expect an outdoor pool and sun terrace up on the top deck, perfect for soaking up some rays and enjoying afternoon tea and cocktails with a view. You've also got a plush lounge area and bar, a restaurant, and a pool bar. Plus, there's an area for fitness and massages.
