"This was the worst place .Don’t believe it’s star rating they only get it because of where it is situated . The room smelled of mould because the carpet outside the bathroom was saturated and when I told reception she said I’ll send up some towels to stand on and that’s the best I can do it’s an old hotel what do you expect she was very rude . Nothing hot for breakfast not even toast . Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else"

"This hotel was relatively close to the main attractions in Prague, but the location on Wenceslas Square was terrible. There were a few nightclubs in the area that attracted very loud people all night. On a positive note, the staff at the reception were very friendly & helpful and our room was beautiful & spacious. However, the free breakfast was not good. When we arrived 30 minutes before it closed, there were hardly any scrambled eggs left and they were cold. It was difficult to find a table that had been bussed and the room was quite dirty. (The rug looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a very long time.)"

"First off we were very excited to stay in this hotel, the pictures and the location made the place feel very appealing. Me and my fiance stayed for 2 nights. The first night we didn't get there until 11pm for check in after 12 hours of set backs bc of flight delays. Also I learned that we got the last available room and maybe it was part of the issue. Within the first hour we nearly flooded the bathroom between a poorly rigged shower head and a faucet at the sink that wouldn't simply turn off without pressing down very hard and turning it from side to side an issue we were told would be fixed the next day that didnt happen. The AC was not working properly and we sweated all night long as we hoped it might work better with time which it didn't. The receptionist was very helpful in providing us adapters for our phone chargers and explained the TV had a 10 second delay for turning on which is bad on me for my impatience I also have a light switch at home that does it too. The bed was technically 2 twin sized beds placed side by side to make a full size bed and over night tossing and turning they were ending up far apart. The breakfast was awful particularly on the second day and it seemed like some things were stale and tasteless in regard to the baked goods and the only meat options were hot dogs and a salami that were probably also a few days old. I gave 2 stars one for location and one for loaning adapters for phone chargers. I can understand the building is old but a faucet and shower head change felt like it would not have been very difficult or too much to change out. I also felt that the AC was also in a need of a change out or servicing bc we were quite miserable with it the whole time and never realized a level of comfort and I also understand that the area was under a heat wave and is a quite rare event for Prague but still it was too hot and humid without some air movement. We stayed at 5 different places on our trip and we felt it was the worst between the faulty plumbing, non working AC and sub par breakfast. In every complaint I had, the other 4 places had none of those issues and that is most of the reason why I write this review. I have stayed at hotels in third world countries and south Texas oil boom towns and they didn't even have the issues that we encountered. I will never stay here again probably not even with a free voucher"
