"We had an enjoyable stay at Bellis Deluxe Hotel in Belek, in August 2026, and overall I would rate the experience 8.7/10.
This rating is broadly in line with the general level of guest satisfaction, although many recent guests rate the hotel somewhat higher, around 8.8–9/10. In my opinion, Bellis Deluxe has many outstanding strengths, particularly its enormous grounds, beautiful landscaping, excellent food, impressive family facilities, water park and evening entertainment. However, several operational and service-related shortcomings prevent me from considering it a truly exceptional 9+ resort.
🌳 Huge and Beautiful Resort Grounds
One of the biggest strengths of Bellis Deluxe is the size and beauty of the property.
The resort occupies an enormous area with extensive greenery, mature trees, beautiful gardens and several distinct areas to explore. It feels much more like a large resort park than a conventional hotel.
There are numerous restaurants, bars, lounges and recreational areas spread throughout the property, which gives the resort a lot of variety and makes it enjoyable to walk around.
The gardens and overall landscaping are genuinely impressive and, in my opinion, are among the strongest aspects of Bellis Deluxe.
🍽️ Food Quality — Very Good
The quality and variety of the food were very good.
The main restaurant offered a broad selection, including different themed evenings and a good variety of grilled dishes. There was generally something available for almost every taste, and families with children are particularly well catered for.
However, there was one significant issue that affected our dining experience.
⚠️ Food was removed before the advertised closing time
The restaurant staff were repeatedly removing many of the theme-night dishes and grilled food approximately 30 minutes before the officially announced closing time.
I found this particularly disappointing.
If the restaurant states that dinner remains available until a particular time, guests should reasonably expect the advertised food selection to remain available until that time.
Removing the most attractive dishes and grilled items substantially before closing creates the impression that the actual dining period is shorter than what has been advertised.
This is something the management should address.
🍴 À la Carte Restaurants — A Major Caveat
The resort has an impressive number of dining venues and à la carte restaurants, but this is an area where guests should carefully check what is actually included in their particular accommodation package.
The number of restaurants advertised can give the impression that all of them are freely available to every guest, whereas access and privileges vary according to the accommodation category.
💦 Water Park — Excellent Family Feature
The water park was one of the highlights of our stay.
It was enjoyable and provided plenty of entertainment, particularly for children. The combination of water slides, children’s facilities and swimming pools makes Bellis a very strong option for a family holiday.
👨👩👦 Family Facilities
Bellis is exceptionally well equipped for families.
The resort offers:
children’s pools,
children’s aqua park,
kids’ club,
playgrounds,
sports activities,
mini disco,
extensive outdoor areas,
and even its own zoo and horse-riding facilities.
The zoo is particularly unusual and gives Bellis something that most competing Belek resorts cannot offer.
For families with children, Bellis is unquestionably one of the strongest resorts in Belek in terms of the sheer number of things available on site.
🎭 Evening Shows — One of the Highlights
The evening entertainment was another strong point.
There was good diversity in the nightly program, and the shows were enjoyable for both adults and children.
Compared with the daytime animation, I found the evening entertainment considerably more successful.
🎮 Game Room and Indoor Recreation
This was one of the weaker aspects of the resort.
The game room was relatively limited and, importantly, the activities were paid.
I was also surprised that there was no bowling or billiards, particularly considering the enormous size of the resort and its strong family-oriented positioning.
Adding a proper indoor entertainment center with bowling, billiards and additional games would make the resort much more attractive, particularly during periods when families want a break from the pool and beach.
🎤 Animation Team — Significant Weakness
For me, this was probably the weakest part of the overall experience.
Although Bellis offers a huge number of activities, I found the animation team to be less energetic and enthusiastic than I expected from a resort of this level.
The team often appeared relatively passive and lacked the emotional energy and interaction that I associate with the best Turkish all-inclusive resorts.
The same issue was noticeable in the children’s activities. Some of the kids’ club staff did not seem sufficiently energetic or engaging to really attract and entertain children.
This is particularly disappointing because the resort has such excellent physical facilities for children.
The infrastructure is excellent; the human energy behind it could be much better.
🌍 Communication in English
Another area that could be improved is English-language communication.
A significant proportion of the guests during our stay appeared to be Russian-speaking, and many members of staff seemed much more comfortable communicating in Russian than in English.
This did not make the stay impossible or unpleasant, but communication in English was sometimes limited.
I would have preferred a more consistently multilingual service, particularly considering that Bellis attracts an international clientele.
🛁 Bathroom and Shower
The bathroom in our room was another disappointment.
The bath/shower area was quite small, and the water pressure was relatively weak.
For a resort of this category, I expected a more comfortable bathroom and stronger shower performance.
This is not something that ruins the holiday, but it is noticeable when comparing Bellis with higher-end Belek resorts.
☕ In-Room Coffee and Drinks
I was also disappointed that there was no coffee machine or comparable complimentary coffee facility in the room.
There is a dedicated coffee bar available at the resort, so obtaining good coffee is not difficult. Nevertheless, I would have appreciated having at least a coffee machine or a better complimentary coffee/tea setup inside the room.
For a resort positioned in the premium all-inclusive segment, this would be a relatively small but worthwhile improvement.
⭐ Final Verdict
Bellis Deluxe is an impressive family resort with enormous potential and a huge amount to offer.
Its strongest qualities are:
🌳 Exceptional size and beautiful landscaping
🍽️ Very good food quality and variety
💦 Excellent water park
👨👩👦 Outstanding family facilities
🦁 Unique on-site zoo
🐴 Horse-riding facilities
🎭 Diverse and enjoyable evening shows
🏖️ Beautiful beach and pier
🧹 Generally good cleanliness
🛎️ Many friendly and helpful staff members
The main weaknesses are:
⚠️ Some theme-night and grilled dishes removed approximately 30 minutes before advertised closing
⚠️ Many restaurants/lounge facilities are not necessarily included for every room category
🎮 Limited and paid game-room facilities
❌ No bowling or billiards
🎤 Animation team could be much more energetic and engaging
👧 Kids’ club staff could be more interactive and enthusiastic
🇬🇧 English communication can be limited
🚿 Small bathroom/shower with relatively weak water pressure
☕ No complimentary coffee machine in the room
Overall: 8/10
Despite these shortcomings, we genuinely enjoyed our stay.
Bellis Deluxe is a resort with excellent physical infrastructure, beautiful surroundings and outstanding family facilities. The main areas preventing it from reaching the 9–10/10 category are not the size or facilities of the resort, but rather service consistency, animation quality, dining-policy transparency and some room-level details.
With a more energetic animation team, stronger English communication, better adherence to advertised restaurant hours, and more generous inclusion of its specialty restaurants and recreational facilities, I believe Bellis Deluxe could move from being a very good resort to a truly exceptional one."
