Apex Waterloo Place

"We were really disappointed with our stay at the Apex Waterloo Place Hotel. The reception manager was rude and dismissive when we queried the breakfast offer we’d been told about at check-in — a simple apology would have gone a long way. Our Master Suite also had issues: greasy smells from extractor fans, poor housekeeping (door left open, dirty fridge), and tired furnishings. On the positive side, the bar staff were excellent — friendly, attentive, and very professional. Sadly, their service was the only highlight in an otherwise underwhelming stay."

"The staff were nice, the restaurant served good food (though pricey) and the location is excellent. The room itself wasn’t that great: the pillows and cushions were very smelly and the bed was uncomfortable and well used. I also found the duvet to be on the small side. The bathroom was covered in someone else’s hair and looked a little tired. I should have been given a double but instead received a twin. I think there are better hotels nearby for the same price. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend staying here and I won’t return on my next trip. "
