Sheraton Grand London Park Lane

"We stayed for 5 nights during our Honeymoon and were so happy that we chose this property. The location is fantastic because you can walk to most of the typical tourist attractions, but you're also in a lovely neighbourhood called Mayfair, which is beautiful. It's close to the Shepherd Market (eating & drinking), Oxford Street (shopping), and Buckingham Palace. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is lovely, and our room was spacious and gorgeous. I'm a Titanium Member of Marriott's Bonvoy program, so I spend a significant number of nights every year at Marriott properties, and I can definitely say that this hotel was above average and a pleasant surprise. We received an upgrade and access to the Executive Lounge, and I must say that it was really nice to be recognized for my loyalty to Marriott."

"Thanks to Marriott Bonvoy I booked the cheapest room at Sheraton Grand Park Lane and was upgraded to a very nice park view suite. The room was cheaper than Courtyard Marriott in Oxford in June. Sound proofing average as traffic on Park Lane could disturb sleep if one went to bed early. Good quality breakfast though limited spread. Basic club lounge with no sparkling wine, red and white wines with Vivino scores 3.1-3.5 and true canapés that would not feel one’s stomach. Gym was decent but could only be reached via ground lobby often with besuited guests. Short walk to Green Park station with several underground lines."

"How tired of you hearing the message, "due to the large volume of calls blah blah blah" "nobody is available so please leave a message" etc. Well the UK and especially The Sheraton Grand understands the value of customers. We had reserved two rooms, so I called in the hope of having them in the same proximity. My call was answered by a wonderful team member Sophie. She was very attentive and made me feel like she cared that we were staying at her hotel. She assured me that they would do what the could to keep the rooms close. She asked if there was an occasion for our visit. I let her know we were going to an NFL game and it was our 40th anniversary trip. She really was a throwback to how people acted in our Country before it became so uncaring and hurried. When we arrived, everyone was so thoughtful. From the doormen opening the door, carrying luggage. To the front desk team members. Our rooms were next to each other and my wife and I had a bottle of champagne, treats and a hand written card welcoming and congratulating us! The rooms were wonderfully decorated and well appointed. Every aspect of this property was based on your enjoyment. So many people to think of. From the wonderful housekeepers constantly refreshing the room while you are out. To the concierges who after 5 years of service are nominated for The Order Of Concierges, such pride in their service. In the breakfast room we were so impressed with the cleanliness, attention to detail and wonderful team. We quickly got to know Andrea, who was very happy and knowledgeable of the area. Marriott has slipped a lot in America. The franchise owners do not understand the Mission Statement. If corporate Marriott would bring team members like Sophie and Andrea and others to be trainers for their US properties, maybe they could bring back the loyalty they once had. We cannot wait to return to the wonderful Sheraton Grand London Park Lane and see our new friends!"
