"Stayed here for 4 nights and have to say apart from the baths being slippy and dangerous without a mat (you need to request at reception) we cannot fault it. The rooms are like apartments, spacious and clean with cooking facilities if you want to cook food and not eat (but you definitely should in Porto as there’s so many beautiful restaurants) The location is at the top of a hill so we would walk down and Uber home (inexpensive) - I’d stay here again and recommend to others"

"Just arrived back from two weeks at this residence and very much enjoyed my time here. The welcome was warm and the duplex apartment was large and comfortable. We initially had some problems with the food (I have a number of allergies ) but this was solved quickly by the manager and I was placed into the care of the lovely Miguel and his wonderful team. From there on I thoroughly enjoyed the carefully prepared food they made for me. The restaurant team were amazing and went above and beyond to keep me safe and well fed. Other reviewers have complained about noise but I cannot say that we found that a problem. The beds, bedding and towels were all of great quality and the bed very comfortable (our backs usually hurt on holiday but not here ). The positioning of the hotel means that you can see it on the skyline from almost everywhere in Porto. The metro station is an easy 10 -15 minute stroll and by changing at Trinidade you can access the entire network. There is a large El Corte Inglese department store right next to the metro station and the food court downstairs is very reasonable. There is a handy supermarket and a few other shops just around the corner from the hotel, also a nice traditional restaurant and a few cafes. You can walk downhill to the river easily enough but walking up is quite a challenge. Walking from the metro station across the bridge into Porto is easy and to be highly recommended. Overall a very good holiday made better by the caring and friendly team working at this hotel."
