Tryp Lisboa Caparica Mar Hotel

"Excellent location - easy to access from airport and what a setting with the beach just across the road. Staff very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The hotel has a relaxing feeling. Rooms had everything we needed and very clean. Cleaned everyday and fresh towels supplied. Reception was very helpful. Breakfast was buffet style with great variety. Very good value for money. Kids could go to pool where they had activities in the afternoon or play volleyball or soccer on the beach. Beach had lifeguards on duty. Cafes & restaurants in the area were excellent. Fresh food friendly staff and good value."

"Excellent location in the centre of Costa da Caparica town and beachfront. The Hotel entrance foyer is so beautiful and clean. The rooms are very spacious with a comfortable bed and a spacious balcony with a sea front view that is wonderful and perfect for watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We would just suggest tea/coffee and biscuits in the bedroom to upgrade our experience. The bathroom has a few amenities and good facilities, although difficult to control the water temperature at times. The Paparica hotel restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet, there is a good variety of food and the quality is good - However, there were a few dishes (for example the mushrooms at breakfast) contained too much salt (but there were others) and we heard other people commenting the same - Our suggestion to the kitchen is that is better to cook with much less salt as afterwards each client can add the extra salt to their taste. Also not all the food was identified so clients with allergies/intolerances/pregnant might struggle to make their choices (for example I currently do not eat ham/pork but I eat sliced cooked chicken/turkey and there were different cold meats there but not all identified), when I asked Staff about the unidentified ones they were unsure - Our suggestion is to identify each food. Regardless that, it was a good buffet at each meal, the desserts were really good (and their apples are so big, juicy and tasty!). The pool is good with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Last but not least, the Staff was friendly and professional, great hospitality. It was our first time at this Hotel and we enjoyed! We will definitely come back and hopefully our suggestions of tea/coffee facilities in the room plus our suggestions to the kitchen will be addressed by then."
