"The pre-arrival communication was excellent, and check-in was very efficient. We were shown to our room and had all the amenities, along with the hotel facilities, clearly explained. The room was large, very comfortable, and wonderfully quiet. The only small downside was the lack of USB sockets, which was surprising for such a new hotel. The staff were very helpful and pleasant throughout our stay, and overall we could find no fault with the hotel itself. The only disappointment was the breakfast. Each of us received one very thin slice of streaky bacon and half a sausage, along with a spoonful of beans and a few small mushroom slices. For a hotel of this calibre, it would take very little to provide a more generous and satisfying breakfast. That said, this was a minor issue and didn’t detract from what was otherwise an excellent stay."

"This is a beautiful hotel. Gorgeous bedrooms, very comfy beds and lovely staff. I had a bedroom in the front of the main Palacio and albeit overlooking the street it was well sound proofed and road noise was not a problem. There are nice communal areas in the reception and bar. They could do with some more soft seating options as the chosen furniture is quite hard, functional and a bit too like an office interior. There are too lovely Atrium type outdoor spaces - one is focused on more local type planting and the other more Moroccan in style. Both have stylish furniture and are very relaxing places to sit. Breakfast was limited but excellent quality food, delicious granola, yogurts and juices. Also lovely à la carte menu included in the breakfast not additional - I had the Avocado toast - the pancakes with banana and peanut butter were a bit dry and need a syrup. coffee could also be better - perhaps a coffee machine would be good. Lighting in communal areas is too bright. Needs to be dimmed down and low lighting options for the evening in the restaurant as spoils the atmosphere. Overall I would highly recommend and location is perfect!"

"After spending one night at the Palácio de Tavira, we noticed a few issues in our room: the phone to call reception was not working, we didn’t have enough coat hangers, the shower temperature knob was faulty, and the internet connection was down. At first glance, you might think this is the start of a negative review — but it is actually the beginning of a very positive one. The next morning at breakfast, I mentioned all of these points to reception. When we returned to our room later that afternoon, every single issue had been resolved. The staff proved to be courteous, efficient, and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable. They even went above and beyond: my wife had bought a pair of jeans she wanted to wear that evening and asked if they could be washed. She handed them to reception after lunch, and by the time we came back to the room, they were washed and ready for her to wear to dinner. After one week at the Palácio de Tavira, we are truly happy to have chosen this hotel. Our sincere thanks to the entire team for a wonderful stay."
