"First the bad.
The shine is starting to fade on the room that we were staying in. Stained soft furnishings in the lounge area. Stains on the grout.
There were several towel peggers who would snag sunbeds and then disappear for an hour or so but to be fair, this is discouraged by the hotel and one member of staff did tell people not to do it.
We arrived late morning and check in wasn’t supposed to be til 3 but the hotel has a locked room for luggage and our room was actually ready by 12 noon.
Yes the pool is cold but it wasn’t too bad and yes the pool area is slippery when wet so be careful
There was some noise from the room above when guests dragged furniture across the tiled floors but it wasn’t too bad.
Ok, the good
We loved the hotel. It was very clean and towels and bedding were changed daily if you wanted it. We didn’t because we wouldn’t do that at home and we weren’t spending much time on the beach.
Hotel Staff were great. I found them all to be very helpful and friendly. Especially the staff at the pool snack bar
The snack bar food was very nice. I definitely recommend the mushroom curry. It got very hot under the umbrellas in the dining area but they were happy to give us takeout to eat in the room
We had an east facing apartment on the second floor. It overlooked the National Park area which meant that we had a great sunrise view from the balcony
And it has aircon. By god we needed that 😀
The lounge area was big enough for us with a small dining table and 4 chairs. the kitchen area was decent. It looks small on the photo but it was big enough for me. Fridge, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and small hob. We didn’t use the microwave or hob though. It was good enough for 2 people self catering
The bedroom was a decent size and the wardrobe big enough for us. Bathroom had a bath with a shower over it which was good enough
Once we got out onto the beach I couldn’t believe how peaceful it was. Near silent. And you could get a good sunset view from the beach too
The hotel was the last one on the strip but it was still close enough to town for wandering to the shops
Overall, we’d definitely come back here"
