easyHotel Rotterdam City Centre

"I found a live bedbug in my bed at 3am halfway through my stay at easyHotel Rotterdam. I got a member of staff and showed it to him. He photographed it then I smashed it and he took the body. I was not offered an alternative room for the night because “the hotel is full.” I was told the manager would arrive in the morning and the situation could be rectified then. I actually had to wait approximately 15 hours in the stairwell before the manager came in. The manager was antagonistic and unhelpful. I requested a refund for the days remaining in my stay and was denied."

"I attended a conference in Rotterdam and needed a budget hotel. This place was fine. It was clean and met all my needs. The room was a bit older than depicted in the photos, but still realistic. The staff were helpful, the location was excellent - 10 min walk to deDoelen and 19 walk to Centraal train station. My only complaint was that the tea and coffee in the lobby wasn't complimentary, you had to pay per cup. But, I knew this in advance and brought a travel kettle. There's an Albert Hejin grocery right across the street where you can buy coffee/tea, etc., so it is no problem as long as you do your research beforehand. There's a very good cafe (Baker & Moore) on the same block where you can get breakfast."

"I stayed here for 2 nights on my visit to Rotterdam. I choose it due to its location and the price of the room per night. Location is great. Approximately 15 minutes walk from Centraal station and 5 minutes walk from the harbour area. Check in was great. Staff were really friendly, polite and welcoming. The room is quite basic but the bed was clean and comfortable. The shower was good and the air conditioning was very welcome on the very hot days of my stay. Only thing to mention is that when you check in, you have to pay a city tax. It could be better if they inform you when booking or before your visit but it wasn’t expensive. I would stay again on my next visit to Rotterdam."
