"Extremely disappointing experience – €500 stolen from my room and no satisfactory response from management. Think twice before staying at this hotel if you value the security of your personal belongings. During my stay at nhow Amsterdam RAI, €500 in cash was stolen from my room while my wife and I were out for a meal. My bag appeared to be exactly as I had left it, but all the cash I had brought with me for our two-day stay in Amsterdam was gone. I regularly visit Amsterdam and have never experienced anything like this before. When I reported the theft to the hotel staff, they appeared to take the matter seriously and told me they would check the keycard access records to determine who had entered my room. I was told this would help identify whether another keycard had been used to access the room. Approximately ten minutes later, a report was brought to my room. To my surprise, it stated that only my own keycard had been recorded as accessing the room. No other access appeared on the report. This left me with serious unanswered questions about how the theft could have happened. I cannot prove who was responsible, but the way the situation was handled, particularly the manager’s reaction, left me deeply uncomfortable. His expression and attitude came across as dismissive, almost as though he was amused by the situation. This only increased my concerns and suspicion. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of a meaningful gesture from the hotel. No compensation was offered, no adjustment to the cost of our stay was proposed, and even our room service meal was not offered as a goodwill gesture. After losing €500 in a hotel room, I expected a much more professional and empathetic response from management. I came to Amsterdam for ADE as a DJ, accompanied by my wife, who is an influencer. We chose this hotel expecting a comfortable and secure stay, but instead we left feeling let down, frustrated and without any satisfactory explanation for what happened. I am sharing my experience so that other travellers can make an informed decision before booking. I will also be sharing my experience on other review platforms and with people in my professional and personal circles. The theft itself is bad enough. The lack of transparency, empathy and proper support from management made the experience even worse. I would not choose to stay here again."

"A modern, beautiful hotel, great architecture, nicely designed rooms. Good connection by subway to the center (old town) and to the train station. One day, however, the room was simply not cleaned, even though we had not opted out of cleaning etc. Since the service did not take place, the note left behind that the coffee machine is defective was also not found, and it was not replaced. You are definitely outside the center in this hotel and away from the many restaurants there. It is all the more annoying when you then cannot get a seat as a guest in the hotel restaurant in the evening. The bar was also partly overcrowded and there is also a lot going on at the reception. Breakfast on the 17th. floor with a great view was very relaxed some days, on some days there was an incredible rush, especially before 9 a.m. Apparently just a trade fair/conference hotel with partly large mass turnover. In the rooms located further down, especially towards the highway, you can hear the traffic clearly. Upstairs it is quiet with a great view. With the numerous star-shaped elevators in the middle of the floor, the correct access to the rooms is somewhat confusing. The staff is nice in itself, but there are simply shortcomings in the service, especially for 4 stars and the price charged!"

"A comfortable stay with a great breakfast The hotel offers nice city views, spacious and clean rooms, comfortable beds, and thoughtful amenities such as an in-room coffee machine, ironing board/iron, and bottled water. Rooms facing the main street can be noisy, but the staff kindly accommodated our request to move to a room on the side. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of options, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Having parking within the building and a small supermarket is also very convenient. The main drawbacks are the weak Wi-Fi and the lack of a Smart TV. Overall, a pleasant stay with good facilities and attentive service. All in all a good value for money."
