"Hotel with a beautiful unique appearance. Good restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Beautiful large room with all necessary amenities. Even the choice between a hard and a soft pillow. We stayed too short to be able to discover the pool and we had all our doubts about the sauna because it is without swimwear. This is not everyone's thing. So the no swimwear rule for the sauna might be worth rethinking, I think. But this is entirely personal regarding the sauna rule. I would recommend this hotel, you are a short half hour from Amsterdam. Parking of Q-Park within 200 meters of a shopping street right opposite the hotel and even 3 AH stores.... 3!!! Oh yes and a Pathé cinema near the hotel. Recommend this hotel. Think they have almost all the amenities you would expect from a hotel."

"The hotel was OK. It looks *amazing* from the outside, but the inside, including the rooms, is more “traditional”: like a standard budget hotel, with nothing special. The problem was customer service, or the lack of it. We had booked rooms for seven people attending a work conference, all with breakfast included. We had email confirmation that breakfast had been prepaid for each person. On the first morning of our stay, one of our company was refused breakfast unless they paid (again). No amount of calm reasoning with the staff would help. We showed them the confirmation email, explained that we were due at a conference and asked whether we could sort the issue out later (we were staying for two days). At one point, the receptionist even said, “I think you are showing me a cancelled booking,” implying that we were trying to claim a breakfast we hadn’t paid for—even though we had paid for all seven! This seems like a small point - but it was genuinely awkward to have a member of our team being refused breakfast until they had personally paid when they had been told by the company that they could relax as all hotel charges were sorted. This spoiled our stay. A day later, the hotel reluctantly refunded the extra breakfast charge, but what a dreadful way to treat guests. We attend this conference every year and will not be staying at this hotel again. They have lost our business."

"Special building with special provision for breakfast buffet. The rooms are spacious, but if a layer of dust could be removed, it would be really great. A small sauna with enough towels is definitely recommended. The restaurant is just okay."
