Radisson Residences Taghazout Bay

"We stayed in this beautiful residence as a family and it is made for people who are looking for calm and want to rest. The apartment is large and spacious for 4 people with a beautiful open-plan kitchen and 2 balconies overlooking the sea. I would like to thank Mr. Zakaria (reception) for his kindness and professionalism, as well as the lady (housekeeping) and Mr. Lahcen the porter. The restaurant is really small for breakfast and there is a lack of staff for service. We had a pleasant stay and I recommend this residence which has a beautiful view of the sea and which has 2 swimming pools."

"If I could give 0 stars I would. I honestly cannot emphasise this enough: avoid this hotel. Our stay at Radisson Blu Residences, Taghazout Bay was by far the worst hotel experience we have ever had. Unfortunately, the problems started as soon as we arrived and continued throughout our stay: • We requested an iron and it took 12 hours to arrive. • There was a leak from the ceiling when we arrived, and it took a long time for anyone to come and fix it. • The shower repeatedly blocked and flooded. • The shower screen kept coming loose and almost fell on me twice. • There was a bad smell in the bathrooms throughout our stay. • Reception frequently did not answer the phone. • When requests were eventually answered, they often took hours to be dealt with. • On one occasion, I called reception repeatedly with no answer. I eventually went to reception in person. Three hours later, my request still hadn't been dealt with. I called again twice, and someone finally arrived just before midnight — but without the towels we had requested. He said he would return with them, but never did. We had to wait until the morning and eventually found a cleaner who gave us some. • There were no basic dishwashing amenities provided in the apartment. • We asked for our room to be cleaned, but were told by a cleaner that she was very busy and would "try". • Our apartment was right at the back of the resort, meaning a very long walk with two children, particularly when carrying everything we needed. • There appeared to be far too few staff to provide even basic customer service. • The reception staff often couldn't give us clear answers and seemed to keep fobbing us off rather than resolving problems. • Bikes were advertised as being available to hire, but we were told that only one bike was actually usable. • On two occasions there were no towels available by the pool. • We ate dinner at the resort one evening and found the selection very poor and not worth the money. We would recommend eating elsewhere. • The supposedly free shuttle was also extremely unreliable. On some days we were left waiting around 45 minutes for it to arrive. What made the experience even more disappointing was the lack of urgency when problems were reported. These weren't minor inconveniences — there were repeated issues with basic facilities, communication and customer service throughout our stay. After returning home, I submitted a formal complaint to Radisson customer services. They initially told me they were very sorry to hear about our experience and that customer experience was a top priority. However, shortly afterwards I was told that my claim had been reviewed and closed by the hotel team. For a resort carrying the Radisson name, this was incredibly disappointing. We travelled as a family and expected a comfortable, relaxing holiday. Instead, we spent far too much of our stay chasing staff, waiting for basic requests to be dealt with and dealing with problems in our accommodation. I would not stay here again and would strongly recommend spending a little extra and choosing another hotel."

"My experience at the residence was great. The high-end, comfortable, well-equipped apartments, the setting, as well as the view were incredible. I would like to highlight the service and kindness of the staff and especially Mr. Zakarya Seqaiti at the reception, who showed great professionalism.
