The resort is located half an hour's drive from the airport. We took a minibus transfer for 16 people, and we were not very satisfied with this transfer. They dropped us off quickly and unloaded us first among all the passengers, but down on the road, we had to run across to the safe side of the road and carry our suitcases up the stairs. It should be noted that the resort does not handle guest transportation; the travel operator, LastMinute.com, handles that in our case.
As soon as we arrived, it was 8:30 PM, and we were pleasantly surprised that we still had time for dinner. After checking in, we were pleased with the variety of dishes at the Medea restaurant; everything was very tasty and on time. After a long flight, we decided to take a walk and look around the area around the hotel. We found two large outdoor infinity pools for adults with comfortable beds and sun loungers, and a Lagoon pool for children and adults, and there was also a playroom for children there.
Since it was the beginning of October and it was quite quiet, which is what we wanted, upon check-in we asked for a quiet room and were assigned room 240 at the end of the corridor on the second floor, which was convenient, not far from the stairs which we mainly used so we wouldn't have to wait for the elevator, of which there were two and sometimes there was a queue for the elevator in the lobby.
The room pleased with its size and cleanliness, the shower without a bathtub which we completely liked, the Grohe mixer with a shower handle could be switched to the showerhead and gave a sufficiently strong water flow. The air conditioner in the room was working, but the filter was clogged. The next day I asked them to clean it, and the hotel simply replaced it with a new one. Well done, they solved the problem quickly!
In the room, you can use the air conditioner with the door open to the balcony, where there is a retractable drying rack for swimsuits, socks, etc. In general, there are enough facilities to make the tourist's stay comfortable, including a TV with a good selection of channels (Russia Today is the only channel that wasn't working, which is a pity, I hope the admin will open the channel).
The room has tea and coffee and a kettle, a beverage refrigerator and a safe, enough space for clothes in the closets and space for bags, the doors open with an electronic card, and you can also get a bathrobe and change towels without limit using cards if you are going to the beach or the pool.
The cleanliness pleased us that the room was cleaned every day and the towels and bedding were changed, the bedding was simply neatly tucked in, the cleanliness and the help of the waiters also pleased us; they always cleared dirty dishes and offered drinks.
The hotel has the Myorka health and beauty center. We were lucky that one day there was a promotion: all massages 50% off. My wife got me a 2-hour full-body massage with peeling and head massage and facial care, and I was delighted with the master Made from Indonesia, a real master of his craft... I recommend it.
Near the hotel, across the street, there is a small, clean beach with clear water.
A short walk away, 10 minutes, is the Salt Pans Museum where famous Maltese salt has been mined since the 16th century. Entry is free from 9:00 to 18:00. Generally, water transport prices are symbolic, 5€ per person for boat trips.
Transport is very accessible, you can get from the hotel to any point in Malta, the bus is right by the road next to the hotel in both directions, the cost is €2.50 for 1 hour, so you can make a free transfer within an hour, Bolt is not expensive but I recommend renting a car, it's better and cheaper for 3 days + it's here with a right-hand drive like in England, Maltese people drive not badly, nearby one mile from the hotel there is Lidl and EuroMate electronics store
I recommend this hotel for both families with children and couples; there are places here such as a gym with banya and a warm indoor pool in Myorka, and also the same facilities during the day for children.
