"We stayed at this hotel for 6 days. Upon arrival, we were greeted well, but we didn’t like the room — it was very small, and the bathroom was impossible to use because it was too small and slippery. The room was clean, but there was no kettle, which is usually provided in hotels so you can make tea or coffee. We were very surprised by the absence of a refrigerator; usually, hotels always have a small fridge, and our room even had a special table where such a fridge could be placed. The TV could only be watched for an additional fee. The staff that runs the hotel is quite rude and never greets you. We paid for accommodation with breakfast and dinner. We liked the first dinner; it was really delicious. The next day, we had pasta for dinner again, and it was the same every day. We were told that the menu at the hotel changes every day, but in reality, only the sauce for the pasta changes; the pasta itself is store‑bought, not homemade as we were promised. We were offered wine with dinner, and we thought it was included in the price of our paid dinner. However, on the day of departure, we found out that the wine was an additional charge and quite expensive. A small amount of homemade wine, which was average in taste, cost us 8 euros per glass. For two people over 6 days, that was quite expensive; it would have been cheaper to buy wine in a store. The area where the hotel is located is unsafe; the streets are very dirty, there’s litter everywhere, and there are homeless people. We felt unprotected and decided that we wouldn’t leave the hotel in the evenings; every day we would return before dark by taxi so that we could be dropped right at the hotel. The most unfortunate incident happened the day before our departure, when we started packing our things and discovered that our credit cards and cash, which we had kept in the safe in our room, were missing. We immediately called the reception and asked them to report this to the police, but they refused, saying that we should contact the manager in the morning. On the morning of our departure, we went to the reception to discuss our problem, but the woman there told us that the loss of money from the safe was impossible and that we had made it all up. They categorically refused to discuss the loss of our money and credit cards from the safe in our room and didn’t even apologize. The thing is that when we left the hotel, we were required to hand over the keys to the room, including the keys to the safe. We do not recommend staying at this hotel, where the staff are rude and do not take responsibility for the problems that occur there. This is a hotel where you first pay for breakfast and dinner, with a menu that promises a varied selection every day, but in reality, you will be served store‑bought pasta every day, and you will be required to pay even for drinking water that comes from their filtered tap. It’s scary to go outside in the evening — there’s dirt and rubbish everywhere, and the street stinks from all sides, no matter where you go. It’s a terrible place with terrible management, poor cuisine, and awful service."
