Ibis Styles Brindisi

"The Ibis is about 25 minutes walk from the town centre,beyond the station,in a working class area.It is however able to offer very good value,for a level of comfort which exceeds the 4 star American hotel, in northern Italy ,from which I came ,having paid exactly twice the Ibis daily price. The twin room (409) was adequately cooled on a 32 degree day.The good sized efficient fridge contained two large glass bottles of proper tasty spring water,not a filtered imitation.The firm beds were vastly superior to the horrible soft American sort at the previous place.A total of four useful drawers were in the cheep and cheerful furniture.I expected only a rail,not a wardrobe, for the modest price.The safe was quite large and, generally, my belongings were in much better order than the “ designer” room of the previous night. As expected,the bathroom was small and without a bath,but quite functional and clean. There was nothing wrong with the breakfast, which had proper rationing to ensure continued availablity of croissants after 0900 ! If you can walk,this is a good hotel."

"The room was spotless , no frills but good comfortable bed . Air con and tv . WiFi speed good . Wonderful power shower with plenty of hot water . Bathroom modern and quality towels . Lovely staff and a plentiful breakfast to boot . 20 minutes mute walk to the port but you can hop onto a bus outside What was there not to like ! Excellent value"

"Never ever sleep in this terrible Hotel . There is no heating, they switch it off to save energy. The windows are old and it’s blowing cold wind from them . The stuff is very rude and impolite, rooms are miserable with very bad mattress and very cold like ice."
